far out man
PL=7 at 577MHz FSB
what cooling and voltage on NB?
what board is that?
nice NB
alright, update done...nice work guys

i know Gautam wanted to see a lower frequency but this is the best i could muster out at this time. the memory is at the highest ratio before going to 1130MHz (which won't be happening anytime soon) and the OS is as tweaked as a base head on sunday morning. this 790i is a monster and these G.Skills are absolutely killing it...tRFC 56 @ 1060MHz...wait until you see them at the same timings at 1078MHz for 32M with only 2.10v
it feels good to join the sub 9min club on a single stage...and yeah, the CPU-Z voltage for the CPU is correct, i finally got lucky with a CPU

very nice man
Just did some testing today and realised this falls nicely in the list. Not optimised, no maxmem, just closed all processes and ran pi. This was supposed to be some 1200 CL4 thingy.

Vmch - +0.4V - I'm assuming it's 1.8V.
Along with lots that i don't know.
thanks guys...felt as good getting under 9 min as it did going under 10 min for the first time, you know whats next
now, more of the 790i killing it in 32M

nvidia... gj 3oh6
thanks guys...this board has treated me extremely well. i just got a capable water setup on the north bridge and am working on crushing my overall PB 32M time. so far a solid 5 seconds lower than it was with a Noctua NC-U6 on the north bridge. i am hitting some resistance @ 580FSB / 1091MHZ 8-7-6 but working through it
lol guys have a look at this
CPU
FSB
and still such a nice time hey
nowhere near as good as Jody but a start anyways
i'm really loving this new Gigabyte X48T-DQ6 with 1800MHz CAS7 Corsair Dominators
it's about time we got your name up there. i am looking forward to seeing what you can do with that board in this arena. i too have an x48 now, P5E3-Premium. it should be interesting to see if i can catch up to the 790i with it...something tells me it might be a tough fight to do so.
hehe
i don't know what's up with me
i always like to do things the hard way don't i
have a perfectly good 790i in the bench room and i'm messing with X38 and X48 boards
maybe it's a good challenge i guess
i will give this asus P5E3 DLX a shot again as i have some issues with Gigabyte X48 and i'm finding that asus is a few seconds quicker
i'll take it easy cause i make too many plans in my head and i find time is what i don't have hehehe
btw it's dinos22 or are you paying me back for calling ya Jodi

hey Jody
this asus ain't too shabby at all man
look what it's doing to my Corsair Dominators hehehe
if i could get this ram to bench at CAS7 the board would let me run PL=6 but just cannot seem to pass about 970MHz 7-6-6-18 1T stable heh
60MHz more on the memory gave a solid 45MHz drop in CPU frequency, wasn't expecting so much but i won't complain
