Very nice work. When you contiue testing try getting the nb up to 2.4 or 2.6, you'll notice a decent performance difference. Unless they haven't given a bios option for that yet, which I don't think is the case. Also, how user-friendly is the bios?

Side-note: Your PCMark score is low, I got 9401 with a 3ghz Phenom 9600 and a HD3850. Probably also due to the low nb.
Not much to say right now.

    Holy....

Very nice clocks, could you comment on Vcore and Vnb used in BIOS? And was this stable or more suicide-ish?

    Very Nice!

If you listen carefully to your internet connection... you can hear thousands of fans of the "other brand" crying out as if in fear... and now being silenced.

    Well done.
Nice to see nVidia OCing well with Phenom.
Could you run 9600GT SLI between 3200MHz and 3400MHz with little more vCore?

    Thanks for the info.
    Tried higher vCore?

I'd love to see what it tops out on say 1.6v.. never had a Phenom die at such volts yet if kept cool enough and it'd be cool to assess the latest data on B3... that most are 3GHz air clockers.

If results like this are common, then B3 Phenom is just about equal to B3 Q6600 in terms of clocking....very good progress.

Imagine what 45nm could be like if this is how 65nm is clocking...

    Nice work,
I am sure Tony appreciates the help - giving birth to a 3.4ghz green baby
Cas 4 @ 1066 is pretty good ,it's been mentioned that it's Phenom that can't do
turns out that it can. Looks like Nvidia is back into "a" (md ) game.Feel free to post the cpu "stepping" if you get around to it.
    Thanks for all the info

    Thumbs up

    Sweet!

I've been waiting for the 780a Nforce boards to come out, even though I use ATi Vcards, I've always liked Nv boards.
I don't run CF anyway, so that doesn't matter to me.

    C'mon DFI, get a 780A board out!!

    Awesome work!
As quoted by LowRun......"So, we are one week past AMD's worst case scenario for BD's availability but they don't feel like communicating about the delay, I suppose AMD must be removed from the reliable sources list for AMD's products launch dates"

Nice to see someone else make it into the 3.4GHz club. Even though you only changed multi and not HT, but still, nice job.
