they are the blue ones, but if you have the cash, get the extremes. they are the black ones.

i got the blue *hp* modules because they were on special and had a $45 mail in rebate to bring the price to 45 bucks for 2 gigs... but i might pick up a set of these since i am looking for new ram.

I noticed that the Maximus Formula has no tRC memory timing setting in the BIOS...I almost got tRFC confused with tRC in the BIOS and set tRFC to 35 thinking it was tRC...is there no tRC setting for me due to the G.Skill memory?...are the timings that show up in the BIOS dependant on what kind of memory/manufacturer you have?
my guess would be 1.8V as that's the nominal DDR2 voltage

interesting... i cant set performance level to 7 manually with pull ins disabled, setting to 6 causes a det ram error, putting it to 8 i can post and all is stable. enabling pull ins i can get pl6 at cas5 and pl5 at cas4. it appears that one has to apply the anandtech formula as it seems to be correct after plugging in all the numbers. there is no real guessing at this when the rules of the article are applied and you know your hardware, its just a matter of figuring out to turn on or off pull ins which im pretty sure is one way or the other dependant on strap. we should really read back through this and compile a table of sorts.

@ Grnfinger: Clock Twister was on Auto for my runs on MF. I'm not behind my PC right now, but I'll run with it enabled to see what difference it makes tomorrow.
My "write" and "copy" numbers are better than yours too. I'm sure I can duplicate your read numbers if I run everest tests a couple of times, instead of once. I also think clock twister enabled, will add a few more digits all around. I really want these results to sway me as to which bios to use; so I'll give you all the ram settings for the "secondary, as well as "tertiary" ram settings for the rampage. Could you run rams at these settings:
5-5-5-15-3-35-6-3-8-3-5-4-6-4-6-14-5-1-5-5
Wonder if these to setting will help my overclocking or not ? Using a E8500.

North Bridge GTL Reference : .67

Ok, one thing that I'm confused about is which phases to enable if I have the ram in the white slots and which if I have it in the blue slots? Anyone got any ideas? I want to try to get PL6 or PL7 with pulled up Phases so it's like PL6 and then lower the timings even more.
How come you guys have a Write speed almost as high as your read speeds?
How come their read and write speeds are nearly even and mine are not?
