I feel uncertain, but probably BIOS is unfinished.

I have used up LN2 on the way.
I intend to achieve 6GHz on the next time.
I saw your activity well.
There is not the events in Japan, and so I fill with envy at AU.
Good Luck Team AU !
Hi PcCI2iminal
Your record seems to improve better.
Do your best toward 6GHz.!
Sweet Duck... impressive work and that chip is just nuts...
Keep pushing it.

Hmm, I've just asked ASUS Scandinavia for a board, hope they'll get it shipped swiftly, please, this pci-e 1x issue... What is it exactly.. And how can it be bypassed ?

Impressive Chips i965 with the E8500 Wolfdale !!
I got the same problem with DFI LP UT P35 but i solved it with pci-e @ 110MHz
Learn
i will try to get a better cooling but with max voltage(and the NB works hot) and stock clocks the PCI-E works fine at 16x,the problem is when i try to run at 400FSB+,the PCI-e droop to 1x.
thx
I`ve tried to increase the vsb without any luck and checking the cpuz the PCIE-x seems to be 16x but i got 75% less than normal.
here is a good run when everything works properly

Hey guys!
What about "FSB Termination" voltage...? In some post i am reading is should be lowered... i mean we got use to the settings we used with conroe, now wolfdale needs less...
So my question is.
If now I am running 8*480MHz, 1.276V, FSB termination can stay at 1.40V..? Or go lower?

hey guys
lol we tested one of E8500 chips i got off junior........we couldn't pass 580MHz FSB 32M SuperPi stable on P5B DLX that does 600MHz with other chips
maybe it was the RAM we were using (bunch of corsair dominator PC10000 sticks in single and dual channel and Cellshock single and dual channel CAS4/5 >> but all my dominaotors can bench 650+ MHz no problem so donno eek)...i just can't think of anything else since the chip does 570 prime stable on air with one of junior's boards and around 550 with mine here heh
guess no 6GHz for us heheh
we were able to bench the same with 1.67v and later 1.8v ..... i'll certainly be hammering other boards with this CPU until i do some 600+ MHz FSB benchmarks
we had gradually increased NB volts to 1.85v while under watercooling and never going past 26C lol

this is as high as we could go untweaked running CAS5

Nice pics. Too bad for the MB 590 is not bad FSB with this MB.

Oh man, sucks that it didn't work out dino
You guys put in alot of effort, but always seems to be running into a wall somewhere . It doesn't seem fair.
But good pics and good work so far. I'll continue to cheer for Team.AU.
dinos22, its probably chipset I could do validation @ 636 but anything above 570 was not 32M stable. 600 was ok for 1M
Chipset DI/LN2 cooled + 2V should help, I am going for 9x640 next week and 6Ghz when I get 8500
...
Nice Clocks
