Here are the pics of the heat pipe taken off and the paste/contact. Also readings before and after reapplying. It looked pretty good to me. I replaced the tim, but I think tightening the bolts on the sinks did the most good for the temps.

So quick question. If I wanna pull off the North bridge heatsink to water cool it, I gotta take all of it off? Is the whole thing connected or can you take off one and not the other?

The heatpipe is all soldered together. If you want to WC the NB, you have to find replacement heatsinks for the SB and PWM.

Sucks, I know. but just be thankfull the stock cooling actually works

Ah damnit, was not counting on having to get cooling options for the south bridge and the PWM. Have no idea what I'm gonna use for cooling those parts, gonna have to do some reading. Anyone have any proven suggestions for after market air cooling the south bridge and the PWM?

Not sure about the SB but the PWM I would look into the HR-09 S TYPE 2.

I guess you could always put the HR-05 (which ever one works best for you) on the SB.

I wish i could rotate my Ultra eXtreme like that. Don't have any room in my case for such a feat..
