RIP GA-X38-DS5. Or maybe someone can help me, but I don't think so. I put in 2x1Gb of Crucial Ballistix (BL2KIT12864AA1065) 1066 Mhz. Had problems from the start, but then managed to get it stable. Then I killed the board. All I did was changing the Memory multiplier from 2.0B to 2.4B, with 1:1 having a FSB of 440, RAM Freq. went to 1056 in Bios. Mem voltage was on default. The reboot that followed was deadly, it seems. First the Bios was recovered, and then the system went into endless recovery-loops. Had this before, so I set the CMOS jumper, which worked before. Not this time. Ain't no bootn' no more. Took out the battery, didn't help. Can't do anything anymore. Can't go into BIOS. I'm ****ed. Didn't know that you could kill a board this way, now I know. A sad day.
