i think i will try to pick up the q9450 if i find a good deal on one when they come out, hopefully the prices don't get inflated due to demand like some other products, i.e 8800gt.

Q9450 looks like the best choice over alli think i will try to pick up the q9450 if i find a good deal on one when they come out, hopefully the prices don't get inflated due to demand like some other products, i.e 8800gt.
Intel Extreme CPUs do not hold up their worth, performance delta isn't worth all that extra $$. Perhaps it's worth $50 or $100 at best
Q9450 suffers from a relatively low multiplier and limited FSB limits since it’s a yorkfield and that brings the E8500 issue, but the Q9450 will be the one if you think for long term
If it reached 450mhz this means 450X8 = 3600Mhz CPU speed which can be done with air only, no need for water cooling, well….for non-QX chips no need for water cooling at all
ya and the E8400 is a really good choice for a low budget's
any idea when these processors are being released?
