this is why i am not a fan of 1M...between these two setups in 32M there is almost 3 seconds difference. with 1M, not even a tenth. that, and i don't really think i have a great OS setup for 1M benching...might have to work on that.

    500*8 / 1000MHz 8-7-6 / PL6 = 12.500
click for full size including Memset...

    571*7 / 914MHz 7-6-5 / PL8 = 12.500
click for full size including Memset...
i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

Yeah, that's the nature of 1M. What if you bring the second one to 4000MHz flat? The 3 MHz is significant.

yeah, thats true too...the 3MHz might bring it down to the 12.478 or whatever the next lowest time 1M will spit out. unfortunately, 571.9 is the next available FSB slot in SetFSB so there is no way for a flat 4GHz on the higher FSB setup.

Systool allows really really fine adjustments. (close to 1 MHz CPU speed) I never tried it on Asus P35 boards but it should work I would think.

It was too far above 4000MHz...at first I was letting within 5MHz range, but later some people didn't want me to, and after trying it out myself, 4003-4005MHz is much much easier than 4000 flat. It can easily help a tick. There are plenty of 4005MHz times that I had to omit too for this reason. Just trying to keep everyone happy.

meh that time wasn't good enough anyways
wait till i really put the hammer down

i've got one CPU coming in soon which i will try to bench at 666*6 with DDR3 heheheh
with LN2 it should be just able to get there....we'll see hehehhehe

you reckon sub 12.4 would be achievable

Tim maybe the wallpaper helps him or it doesn't harm the bench

maybe he applies the theme after bench is done

one thing is for sure that result is VERY good so he looks like knows what he's doing to me
i personally think it's the RAM speed that's helping a lot there

on what divider i dunno ... i have different option in bios and don't botther calculating it coz i suck @ it ... one thing is for sure, wallpaper or no wallpaper, the result stays the same my friend, try it out

and yes, it's the mem that give the result, @ 600mhz or 666mhz i had no lower then 12.500 but finally havin ballistix got me to 1420mhz ... 1 run, 1screen, en boom basta crash
