The thermal compound they used is just the usual Asus stuff. The very hard, grey compound.
It's not really sticky when never used, but it seems to stick really good to the IHS when it has been warm/hot for a longer period.
I don't know if those coolers will fit since I never had them in my hands but my coolers are a pretty tight fit.
Its not really good visable on this pic but you might get an idea:
Waterblock is hitting a cap on the left bottom corner. Cap is a bit bended but it fits. It's the same with the SB block, but I don't have a good picture of that.
Removing the NB/SB cooler is quite easy.
Just take a plier to get the 2 pushpins out which connect the SB block to the board. Next unscrew the 4 screws that are being used to hold down the NB waterblock.
Now hold the mofset block mounted on the side of the I/O plate in place with your fingers (so the low, copper thingy, not the big allu piece that's on top of it)
Than start taking off the NB/SB piece. It will stick to the mosfet block pretty good so that's why you have to hold the mosfet block in place since otherwise it starts to bend.
Now just pull a bit more and it will be off.
This is a foto of what you have in your hands now. It's just one big piece tha'ts being used for just NB and SB cooling.
