A friend of mine has that chip (it's mine, but the seller didn't want to ship it abroad so i ahd to send it to him first )

    Again, funny stepping.
weren't all steppings with A**** ES sample? Stephen mentioned it once, I think.

Anyway, try the chip, who knows, you might get lucky.

Btw, anyone seen the KABJE 0449 stepping?

never heard of KABJE 0449. BUY IT!!!!

I always thought the newer ES's were those Axxxx that has the core voltage written on the bottom of the chip.

Think I have a 156 and fx60 ES on the way, too Not 100% sure though, the company I bought them from has some problems... I keep my fingers crossed.

Wonder how it does compared to the chip gianni got

The fun part is that I paid $156 for it lol. Which is quiiiiite alot less than gianni paid for his chip

EDIT: The FX60 has stepping ACB9E 0607VPAW, btw. Earliest B9 I've EVER seen.

    AAB1E

    "1st letter: "production/release code"
Pre-production or early samples have an "A" here where final production batches will be a "C" (for current chips). Some may recall that Venice samples where seen in the wild as "ABBLE" and current production runs are "LBBLE". While complete understanding of this is unknown at this time, it is clear that this has something to do with early samples."

There is an ACBWE 4200+ in the post office at home, too. Made 70 weeks before the "normal" chips (0513TPMW). I have no high hopes for it, but it's nice to have

Darn, didn't realize I had THAT many early samples lol.

ARgh, I envy your 0614bpmw's. I think all of these chips were sold in Germany Makes it hard for me to get hold of some.

Won a 3500+ San Diego (a REAL SD, says BN not BW on the chip ). Stepping... AABHE 0502XPMW - oldest SD I've ever seen! 1.4v btw.

Is that the 146 that's for sale on forumdeluxx? Remember I bid on it - even wrote to the guy in GERMAN about that chip lol. He said yes, but that's all that ever happened.....

Seems like you only have old chips :p

Anyway, I might buy myself a 3500+ Winnie with WR stepping . Seems like it doesn't have a coldbug .

Hmm, no idea what to think of this one:

    ADA4000DEP5AS
    CAAXC 0430 MPMW
    Batch: 0070

Seems to be a FX-53 stepping, but I can't find any info about the stepping.

Hmmm, 0633fpmw... that MUST be a CDBFE, am I right? Those are coldbugges, I think.

I have a feeling I won a 3500+ CDBHE 0540FPMW a while ago. Not sure where it is now, maybe at some friend's house or something. Should be decent.

The 3500+ SD's were labeled VENICE for some STUPID reason lol. No idea why they would do that.

I saw an FX55 AAAXC 0430MPMW once, so it could be an FX55 stepping actually.

Difference between E and A is the day of the week. Though, it's not known (by me) what day as there are more than 7 letters for exactly 7 days ...

Nevermind the chip, I asked the person who has selling the cpu if it was an actual picture of the cpu and it wasn't .

So far, all my world-class steppings (3000+ winnie, 3000+ Venice, 3800+ venice, 3500 winnie) come from fellow members of the 9lives forums. I'm checking eBay once in a while to find out if there are good steppings available or not. Mostly not .

    A and R = monday, B and S = Tuesday, C and T = Wednesday, D and U = Thursday, E and V = Friday, F and W = Saturday, G and X = Sunday.

    M = mixed(?)

Edit: what stepping is that 3800+ venice btw?

Source of that info? Searched all day for it and I didn't found it

M is indeed mixed, AMD datasheet describe M as "M if fab lots were combined"

    Stepping:
    ada3800daa4bp
    lbble 0521dpmw
    z71139zfs1939 => Same stepping as Stephen's killer 3200+
