MSi P35 Plat (anyone want to test set fsb beta?)

Over a week ago I purchased an MSI P35 Platinum. First was an issue with the bios. MSI sent me one to try which gave me access to higher Northbridge voltage settings. I used Set Fsb for the P5K chip but have been emailing abo who came up with a beta for me to try. the problem is last night I let the smoke out of a mosfet and never got to try it. Today I pcked up a Gigabyte P35-DQ6 so I can't test it out. PM me if you're interested.

I had this MSI mobo too, it has very strange design errors, with dividers, with OC in BIOS, i sent it back to MSI, this mobo is unusable crap!

OBR: The bios definately needed alot of work. Dividers for ram had been a joke. The beta bios I recieved from them helped in a way, possibley. I was able to set the chipset to 1.65v but there was still a hole from 1.45-1.5. None of the settings would work. 1.65 may have worked on the original bios.

Kiwi: Well I will need one for the dq6 so I will give it a go thanks. Read your thread BTW nice work. I was posting because I have a beta Set Fsb that has been made by abo but I can't test it.

Alex: Do you have a translation of the error? It is XP you are installing on correct? I used XP and don't remember any issues installing drivers.

! I have very cheap MSI P35 Neo, and this is really GREAT "Bearlake" mobo with no problems like on P35 Platinum!

Great stability, good OC, very good board for that price! I think Platinum has some design errors, because now we have Platinum rev 2.0! on market, and i had rev 1.0!

Do you test msi p35 neo with E2260, E2140?
I asking, beacuse i have problem with my E2160 on mis p35 neo f. OC this cpu is full stable on 2700Mhz (9x300), ddr2 goes to 900Mhz. Problem is, when I oc on 3000Mhz and more.
My E2160 is full stable on 3400Mhz - testing orthos cpu strees, but when i turn on blend strees RAM - 2sec and reset system.

    For ex.: 3000Mhz (9x333) ram 1:1 (667), blend 2sec=reset,
    ram (800), blend 2sec=reset, ram (900), blend 2sec=reset.

    More volts don't help.

My ddr2 g.skill nq max oc 1000mhz - testing on asus p5b deluxe.
