I had serious car accident and wanna say hello to my friends...

    Hello...

At the evening on friday I had very serious car accident. Big truck (25t) hitted my car. I`m very lucky that I`m alive and my brother too. I`ve got only domaged arm, my brother too and few smaller injures. But we ARE ALIVE !

I was waiting in car on the express road (cars before me was waiting for something on the road, so I had to stop too). I turned on emergency lights to signal, that cars after me have to stop, because everybody after me are waiting, not moving. It was very rainy, I have seen huuge truck in mirror, about 150m from me. Few seconds, another look in mirror and...this truck isn`t going slower and gonna hit me ! I turned wheels very fast to right, I gear and wanted excape to row but it was too late...This truck with about 40mph hitted my car`s back and we have big flight to the row (we hitted car which was the next one after me). Only because of turned on the right wheels we are alive. If I wouldn`t do that, probably our car would be just crushed, but in that case we have horrible flight to row which was near the road.

I`m still in shock that we are alive, and wanna say that I`m glad that I can still write to you guys, from phase section and from all XS...

And I`m still crying for my baby...

    Honda Forever

I hope that I will be back into phase in next few days, a lot of work to finish, but I`m in horrible situation with my arm and all my body. But I`m alive...

    Luke

Good to hear your okay, time to break out the lawyer though. You can get a fairly large settlement from a situation like that.

Nope NoL, polish law is very stupid. I`ll get only 70% of cash, that I cat get for this car. For example, I have bought this car for 1200euro, now I can buy that kind of car for 1050euro, 70% from that is ....735euro and I will get only this money, AFTER 6 months !!!! ;(

Sounds like a trucker working 16 hour shifts dozing off at the wheel a bit and not paying attention.

God to hear you are ok, rear collisions are the worst.

I am still messed up from when I was hit by a drunk driver who hit me going quite a bit faster when he ran a red light.

RIP Honda. Hopefully you guys will be fine, report any pains or problems no matter how insignificant it seems now.

Mate that car is a mess, the main thing is you are OK as cars can be fixed. As Fugger said report any pains or problems no matter how insignificant, as these things have a habit of coming on later on in life, I know this for sure as i was hit from behind by a van when i was stationary on my motorbike which has messed me up pretty badly.

Take care and hope all things considered you are on the road to a fast recovery.

poor car, but look at the cab not that bad luckily, and ya consult a lawyer and keep a record of things, I was royally screwed out of a settlement by a lying cop! So take lots of picks of your own! and be prepared mate, five years from now things can pop back up.

    QFT.

My brother was rear-ended by this idiot Hummer H3 during the morning commute. He ended up with neck/back pains for nearly an entire year and required therapy for quite a while just to get it under control.

Good to hear you're ok Luke. Like others have said, the most important thing is that you are ok. Report any pains you get as Fugger said even if it doesn't seem like much.

I'm glad you and your brother are OK.

I would miss your phase building on these forums if you didn't make it.
