The G0 Steppings Thread with pics(Translated Version)

Go's secret, Wat has GO been changed that makes intel so much better!
Wat kinda quad core could do 4ghz in air and run over 3dmark06 ? Intel core 2 extreme Qx6850.

i picked this QX6850 from many i have, this is not the best one, but at 4ghz, it does the best job.

    M/B :ASUS P5B Deluxe
MEM :KINGBOX Micron D9 2GB Dual Channel
HDD :Seagate 250g SATAII 16Mb Cache
    VGA CARD :ELSA 8800GTS
    POWER: SevenTeam 1000W
    OS :WIN XP SP2
    CPU COOLER:Tower 120
    CPU :Intel Core 2Extreme QX6850 G0

    Room ambient:25c.

PPl who have played with Qx6700 all know that, quad cores are more sensetive for the temps than c2ds, if temps goes a bit higher,it will cause the stability issure of o.c. So its harder to be stay under air with quad cores than using c2ds.
But now with Go stepping , qx6850 has been changed. Heard that E3 has decrase the temp by 10 degrees!
That is why Go stepping is able to do 4ghz with air.

Sorry for the lack of Translations, may be hard to read, but at least get a lil feeling of wat GO is lol.

good god thats one awesome chip... the cpu temp is strangely low "for just air cooling".. i would suspect something like that with water cooling not with air..

    These G0s rock.
I wonder how much it will take till they bring them to the non-Extreme chips.

So will the retail Q6600s be G0 stepping at the time they are reduced in price in July? That is the CPU that I want for my first ever build using when the prices are reduced and plan to get it immediately after the price reduction and use air cooling.

Great results, the big question, will the STABLE max oc increase from a good chip of the current revision?

Whilst its all well and good to hit 4ghz on air is it stable for DC/work?

Same question of 3NZ0: how really good are this g0 chips? Can they be used @ 4Ghz only for benching or there is something good also about daily-use?
