Yes, it's only BIOS issue. Confirmed.....

I use BIOS F3 on DQ6 and it performs crazy fast like hell.......
But when I updated to F4.....it performs like SH*T..........

So, I go back with F3 BIOS.......
I hope Gigabyte fix this issue in F5 bios later.......

I have started a topic on our dutch forum about these boards, and made a table with differences between the boards. I'am not sure if these are all differences, and if all voltage options are correct (For example, I read 2.90 volt in a ds-4 review, but it has 3.35 as max vdimm).

So ... if I forgot something, report if

    I have seen that, yep

I'm now trying to find out if the voltages of the P35(c)-DS3R are right. Someone who can confirm this ?
And, are there more differences between the DS3P and DS4, other than only the extended heatpipe cooling to the mosfets ?

There isn't any difference except the Silent Pipe. DS3P = DS4 - SilentPipe.
    So take the DS3P.....

    I TOOK the DS3P

I have tested on Super pi 1M, but time is a little bit slow I think. On my P5W DH dlx I got 13.984 sec, but now I get 14.216 sec at the same speed and timings (9x400 cl4-3-2-7).
But I used bios F4 for that. I can better switch back to F3 bios?

I think you'd be better to try F3.....because it might perform better.....

This DQ6 F4 BIOS performance also sucksss....so i flash it back to F3.

On the performance side...I think no difference.
It differs only in the features and silentpipe and 12 phase PWM. If you don't need any silent pipe or 12 phase PWM.....just take the the DS3P.

Btw, the 12 phase PWM is good......no vdrop in my mobo even at 1.575V

I have changed back to F3 bios for my DS3P, and indeed, its a little bit faster. Superpi went from 14.156 sec (best of 10 runs) to 14.078 (best of 10), where that result was not just a lucky one.

But.. with a lower FSB and lower DDR-speed, I got 13.985 seconds on my old P5W DH dlx
