A-Data PC6400 Vitesta EE // D9GCT // Adata Chips? <=what?

lo guys my 1.st post here^^

    I just ordered A-Data PC6400 Vitesta Extreme Edition (EPP) 4.0-4-4-12 @ 2.0V Micron D9GCT (B6-37E) for testing.

Does someone have experience with this babies @1:1 devider, based on a 975X Chipset Mainboard?

I do with my G.Skill 6400 HZ´s up to 460 @1:1 @4,4,4,12 with 2,65 Vcore with GMH chips on it. Can i expect the same results? better or worse?, what do you think? Board in the sig.

best regards and thx for replies.

    EDIT:

Just got a reply. Maybe i even get the RAM with "Adata" chips??!!! rebadged?
    WTF is this?

    Benny,
Is there any chance that you have pulled the heatspreader yet on those modules, from your results I would assume their D9's but some of these other IC's have started to do pretty well! So pull those spreaders and let us know ASAP, lol!

The chip labeled with ADATA. I'm not sure this is Micron, also the memory don't like voltage > 2.3 volt. I think it's elpida or promos or aeneon

    and this

    2. ADATA VITESTA EE PC6400 CL4 2GB

    M2OAD9G3I4170INE58
    ADQVD1A16
    10*10.5mm ICs

    1. Is not micron ICs but rebadged

From what I've found the CAS5 modules should be Aeneon IC's and the CAS4 modules should be Micron D9GCT (B6-37E), but of course I could be wrong? Both kits look like their running the same exact IC's like you said? Can someone with more knowledge straighten us out on these IC's please? I'm very curious because I'm activly trying to hunt down a kit of Adata modules but the PC2-8000 flavor. In any case thanks for pulling the spreaders off and snapping a couple shots, much apprecaited!

Oh yeah, how are these kits running for you, what speed and what voltage do they like? That might help with identifiying what IC's they are?

    test

    2x 1024MB Adata Extreme Edition 800+ 4,4,4,12 @2,1-2,2 Volt
    M20AD9G31417OINE58
    S/N: 701TU (ADQVD1A16)

    E6600 L630A767
Abit AW9D-Max (no Mods, all default, MCH@1,95, CPU@1,65)

    1. 440 FSb @1:1 @2,45 Volt / after Pi 4M

    2. package

    3. tower

    4. Everest SPD timings

    Conclusion:

This Ram-Chips seems to be very solid. I just tested @1:1. They were even 1M stable @460, 4,4,4,8 @2,65 Volt. Is a good Ram for 975X in order to drive
    something between 400-440 "stable".
Maybe they can go higher, but my Abit limits me here till 460!:/ Cause my HZ´s even do the same.

Good solid and cheap! Probably rebadged D9GCT´s.

Just for mentioning it's called vdimm voltage (vCore is for the CPU) and 2.65 is REALLY high voltage - hope you didn't used it 24/7

    And 6400HZ should do more than 450mhz cl4 @ 2.65 btw

    yeap, i know......
My Board is really strange.....it has a barrier of fsb 460 @1:1. Is well known this Bug.
Untill 440, just tested, i need 2,25 Vdimm.

Now in this pic it has 2,35 Vdimm.
Well,...thats the maximum fsb of this board. Otherwise u have to make mods.

    ...
I am 100% sure, they run better on a good 965 Chip Board.

"umgelabelte Microns" means relabeled Micron Chips so most likely you got D9GCT chips

    "don't like voltage > 2.3 volt"
    I've discovered that they work @ 1,90 v (min for DFI 975 x/g ) 844 MHz 4-4-4-8 1T !
I had in the past Team Xtreem w. Micron and I had to change 4 kits because after I used them 844 4-3-3-1 @ 2,45 v they didn't post any more @ 1,90v (reset bios) and I had been refunded
It seems to me that these are 90nm chips (because they work @ low voltages), maybe Promos
Right ? What do you think?
