Got mine through today. Fantastic block and very quick delivery.
Does anyone have any instructions for it though? I've tried EK's website and the link to the pdf doesn't work for me. Sorry for the noob question but there's a lot more fixings on this then there is on my Maze4s, lol.

Friend: Do you have a spare PSU lying around?
Me: No why?
Friend: My PSU just blew up, I think the second 8800GTX might have been too much for it to handle
Me: what PSU was that again?

With so many parts to cool on a card like the 8800 it isn't a bad choice imo.

they weren't.... until EK came to market. then the price difference wasnt as great and the restriction wasnt as high so the antisentiment also dropped.Originally Posted by serialk11r

right. lemme help out. firt thing, check the instructions for other blocks. its all the same the holes are just different for hte most part:
http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/downloa...stallation.pdf
the basic rule is the thinner screws go in the holes around the core, all the other slightly thicker screws will go all around the other holes in the block/card PCB, one metal and pvc washer per screw.

Cheers mate. After having a better look I had sussed most of it out but had 2 questions, you've just answered 1.
The other question is also going to sound daft and I think I already know the answer, but I just need some confirmation. So:
If I use the supplied spacer on the barb, do I have to use an O-ring between the spacer and the barb as well as between the spacer and the block?
TIA.

thats the way to do it. think about it this way. the barb and supplied o ring is a single UNIT to be used like that. when you put that spacer in when doin sli mode or what not, then as you see the riser ring has a groove for te o ring so that as another UNIT.
so yea o rings stay on

That is a sexy beast.
you have 11 screws (maybe one more) and 22 washers (11 paper and 11 metal)..there are 11 holes in 8800GTX so just...MOVE ONOriginally Posted by Hemp Knight
