sure, cos G965 is not T series Mobo so, I really don't sure that G965 is OCable like the T series

for some reason CPUID isnt working.

when i load it up it says the minimum and maximum at 9x
i tried TAT which loads and gives an error and says "error loading clock modulation" or something basiclaly its saying it cant load the driver to adjust the multiplier. it then immediately kicks my multi down to 6x.

ok then load CPUID again and it says that my min is 6x and max is 9x but i cant select 6x all i can select is 9x..

    am i not enabling something.
i go right to the options for multiplier adjustments.

do i have to enable something first ?

    good stuff ray.
now thats the Dlx right, sorry i didnt check.
my DS3 does that, i cant say they all do it but mine will.

i cant say the 965PT is a bad board it isnt but it definately isnt better than my DS3,
it did the same at 9x as mine did but it took more volts.. not sure why though

but it does have a nice vcore rail. not as much droop as my ds3 but it still took more volts. again wierd and not sure why.

    Cooling : tuniq tower 120
    ~20°c ambiant temp.
    Vcore : 1.7v bios.

Damn, my ambient temp is around 17c because I live in the basement and it's cold. I'm gonna make the jump to Conroe after I sell my Wii for an exuberant amount on Ebay. I'm thinking about an e6300 and this TForce. I'm happy with the TForce4U 939 AMD so hopefully the experience will be good again. Browsing through this thread I see mostly e6600 results so I'm not getting a good idea of this boards max stable (air cooled) FSB. If I can get around 500 (keep in mind freezing ambient temps) that would be fantastic.

That looks tasty Benny. Where and when did you buy your e6300? Also, what memory are you running?

I'm thinking about getting the Biostar TForce 965PT and over clocking the e6300 CPU. Does this board let you change the fsb:dram ratio to less then 1:1 say 5:4? I ask because I have pc667 that can over clock to pc800 but I might want to over clock passed 2.8ghz (7 x 400). If this board can't what one can for about the same price?

965 chipsets cant do that, 975 can and the upcoming rd600 can do fully async

E6300 week 27. I bought it at local shop in my country about 1 month ago. I'm using KHX8500D2K2/1G memory from Kingston.

you must mean 4:5...i can not speak to the biostar board but i do know the asus lowest memory ratio is 1:1 if you are using the 266 fsb....if you are referring about going lower on the FSB scale...i would say WHY!?

He said why, he is using cheaper ram that he dont think will overclock as well conroe does. Ive been looking at the same thing but theres almost no mention of ratios the 975 boards will do. With Ati you can set the fsb and ram independently and to whichever mhz suits

he says the PC667 will overclock to PC800 so, i presume he is saying it will clock up to 400 FSB if he uses 1:1 ratio
