    X6800@VapoLS + X1950XTX Stock

Received today the X1950XTX, here is the 1st quick results with x6800 at the VapoLS..

Video Card is 100% stock, just increase a little bit the vcore - from 1.45v to 1.5v ..

    Here is a photo

The X1950XT seems to run colder than the X1900XTX and MUCH more silent

Here is a quick result of my favorite bench :

Not bad for single stock card

    2005 Run :

Still can not get a X1950CF master, but I will do some tests with the X19000 MasterCard ..so more to come

Yes, I disable the ATI service, just raise the core voltage from 1.45v to 1.50v and that's it ..

Beta 16 works reasonably well at leat for the core speed, but I suspect is limited on the memory

Anyway I will test it with a X1900 MasterCard I will post further results ..

thats an insane score for single card
almost catches up to x1900xtx crossfire
now shamino just needs to try and get a cascade on one of these "crimson loveboats"
increase vcore to 1.6 and see what happens (you always have rma lol)

Since I dont have the X1950 Master card yet, I decide to test the X1950XTX with one "old" X1900 Master Card..

    Here is the photo:

    Clocks :
    X1900 Master Card: 746-846
    X1950 XTX :746-1143

    Here is the 3Dmark 2001 result :

    Compare URL: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9053756

The new Catalyst that suports the 1950 seems that are not very Nature frienldy in Crossfire mode, so I have to do some "mix" with older drivers...

Anyway, not to bad for 2 graphic cards with stock coolers in a system for 24/7 use ..

Rly nice to see that this card can do 700+ core..all reviews show a 20-30mhz overclock as max.
    Like this http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/vid...1950xtx_8.html
"So, the highest frequencies at which the overclocked Radeon X1950 XTX was stable were 670/1100MHz, and it would be unwise to demand anything more from a premium-class product."

For XS users is allways "wise" to demand more

It seems to me that Nature and the drags are being bound by the X1900 Master, they appear identical to what you'd expect from 2X X1900 in CF at those speeds.

I think there should be an option in atitool that can give more volt to the core and to let go of hardmod it, and the memory sucks on this card every i see is stuck att 1143mhz it's a shame for such good mem...

    Only 23" LCD - 1920x1200 here

Here is an update, still on the Vapochill LS and ATI stock coolers - still using X1900 Mastercard

With 1.50v on the core the X1950XTX reach easily 760-1143 (current limit of ATITool on memory), score, nature in special, are heavy penalized by the X1900 Master low mem speed ..

X1950 CF Master this week I hope, let's hope they are not to cold bugged, we finally need to give a good use to Ricky's double cascade (2 evaporators) that are accumulating dust due the dam graphic cards cold bug ..here is a photo of it :
