    Question for you guys already runnig this board. Can you run crossfire graphics (both at x8 I know) in slots 2 and 4? I have an Areca 1230 on the way which runs at x8 and I wanna use it and crossfire. The only way it will work is if I use the 8,8,4,8 config with the Areca in slot 1, the master x1900 in slot 2, the slave x1900 in slot 4 and my Xfi in the bottom PCI slot.

    Or will I have to go to one graphics card? I which case is it best to go for a Nvidia 7950x2 ?

    there are two different configs for pcies, 16-0-4-0 or 8-8-4-8, so CF will work with 8x-8x in 1-2, 1-4, 2-4 combinatios, so your config will work.

    What he said

    Assuming you're using double-slot graphics cards then your choices are either:

    Areca (8x), Master (8x), Empty (blocked), Slave (8x)

    or

    Master (8x), Empty (blocked), Areca (4x), Slave (8x)

    Areca seem to think there would be negligible performance difference between using a 8x or a 4x slot - and it will work in the 4x speed slot. Using the Areca in slot 1 will leave very little room between your two graphics cards (assuming they're double slot), something to bear in mind.

    How high can you go with 1:1 divider?

    My board maxes out at 495FSB with 1:1 divider and 4-4-3-4-26 settings.
    The MCH is watercooled and slightly overvolted, 1.86V.

    They have batch codes just like cpu´s.
    Code starting with:

    L = Malaysia
    3 = Costa Rica
    7 = Philippines
    5 = China
    Q = Malaysia
    etc.

    I haven't even played with my P5WDG2 WS yet! It's still in the freakin' box.

    More stuff to buy...

    Is this board lookin _that_ much better than the rest of 'em? What am I saying. Let me rephrase, is this board lookin' to be the best of 'em?

    EDIT: Plz excuse the noob for not reading the whole thread before he posts (me). Ordering board now, thanks all for posting results.

    My CPU feels rock solid on this board at 4GHz and air-cooled.

    The main ratios (4:5 & 2:3) work, but not as well as on the P5B Dlx.

    I'm using Corsair 6400C3. Not many memory kits will do DDR2-1212 @ 4-4-3.

    This was on the P5B Dlx

    Hi Sierra. What voltage did you set in the bios to acheive this result? I've installed this board and am slowly working my way up to around 4ghz if possible, but I don't want to apply unnecessary voltage sine this board overvolts a good bit as it is. Thanks and excellent results as always.
