How is that 18x multiplier possible?
How is that 18x multiplier possible?
Kentsfield is an Extreme Edition processor with four cores. On the board he's using, multipliers 6 through 20 are available.
Kentsfield is much different from Conroe. It's not a high FSB processor. But the upper multipliers are unlocked, so you don't necessarily need high FSB.

For a second I thought you where talking about a "mobile U10" quadcore :P
Thank you, everybody.
cinebench is downloaded now. Probably LN2 cooling can be performed during a weekend. I'm sorry since work is slightly busy.
Looking forward to your Cinebench score, kaz-n-san.![]()
kaz-n,ur the quad-legend, great sub10
Thanks, sierra-san,hicookie-san.
cinebench Result.

Cinebench score would be much higher if you were able to run higher FSB, even with less CPU speed.
Very nice
