    Hmmm, do ya think something changed in the last 13 minutes? Give Abit a little time for some bios updates and the board will be fine...

    Ok guys, Turrican has his setup running. He has a proper 8 pin 12V connector on his board that works fine with his Enermax Galaxy 1000W PSU. Pics here.

    And some 3DMark06 run of mine:

    Update from Turrican:

    - 1:1 runs fine for him (using Corsair sticks)
    - Just tested FSB 400 1:1 for a quick 3DMark run, worked fine with MCH 1,6V
    - Again, his connector is correct

    So, he pretty much has none of the problems I faced. Guess we'll see more results tomorrow

    Ich habe einfach mal 350FSB eingestellt und den 1:1 Teiler sowie den darüber, funktioniert einwandfrei bei mir.

    Für 400FSB (=3.6GHz) muss ich die MCH etwas anheben, mit standardmäßigen 1.5 komme ich nicht in Windows, mit 1.60 ist es zumindest mal 3DMark06 stabil (ausführlicher nicht getestet). Auch da funktionieren die Teiler. PSB habe ich einfach auf 1066 gestellt.

    Bisher bin ich positiv vom Board überrascht worden. Alleine schon das ungewohnte nicht-Abschalten beim Restart ist so herrlich ungewohnt als P5W User. :bigok:

    Ich muss jetzt aber ins Bett, mir fallen echt die Augen zu. Sorry, dass ich nicht viel testen konnte.

    Translated :

    * 350MHz works with 1:1 divider

    * 400MHz needs +0.1V on MCH, divider work here too (3DMark06 stable)

    * He's positively surprised, the Board doesn't power off when resetting like his P5W

    * That's it for Today

    EDIT - damn, too slow

    That's what I want to hear. No more worries about the board killing my other hardwares due to constant power downs. My harddrives and waterpumps will live a little longer. Looks like its OCZ ram compatibility issue SO FAR. Nothing confirmed yet. Lets see what other users say.

    You're most welcome! Good luck with yours
    I'm considering ordering a new one and sending my dud back. I could easily live without the 1:1 divider for now, but this EPS connector thing really freaks me out.

    Considering 1:1 266 FSB is suppose to be a standard, you would be entitled to a r.m.a. I would suggest you visit a loca retail store and purchase some additional ram in order to rule out ram incompatabilty before requesting r.m.a. If you are unable to use the ram with the board you could simply return the ram for a refund. If it works then you would have proven incompatabilty.

    The RAM works fine with any other divider, just not 1:1. There's no local retailer within a ~30KM radius

    Sicness sorry to hear about the possible bad board.

    I still have every intention on grabbing this board once it becomes available again.

    Is there any other reason why you wouldnt recommend this board, since you are one of the
    first to get your hands on it and all.

    299... dream on.. sorry ZZF and sorry abit this mobo doesnt even come close warranting the 299 price tag not even remotely close.

    are you guess getting a new revision NB ? or is it the same as all the others. just curious if a new 975 came out along with the new C2 965

    Sorry wanna ask again, for users of this board, or potential users, will you bother to replace the thermal pads with some good thermal paste?
