cool that chipset best you can.
definatly better then them stock coolers.

conroe boards seem to respond greatly to chipset voltages, and cooling them well does great when pushing near 2 volts on the chipset.

"The command and conquer model," said the EA CEO, "doesn't work. If you think you're going to buy a developer and put your name on the label... you're making a profound mistake."

VERY nice you two...things are getting so ridiculous (in a good way) that I can't wait to see what happens when you strap those CF cards into a cascade or chiller.

Say bye bye to AMD all over the ORB (for now) with results like this starting to surface.

Congrats you guys, you earned it...now show us more!!!

From another thread it looks like FUGGER is applying more cold as well so it should be a fun weekend for all as hipro will be shooting as well.

AWESOME work out there Ricky & Pedro =D
82k with the cards on stock cooling is freakin' insane
now with conroe, we are really starting to see the REAL power of X1900 against 7900gtx... the nvidia ones get really owned :P

p.s: um scorezinho destes com as x1900 deve deixar la o nosso nvidia fanboy (Blaster) no techzone de queixo no chao :P LOOOL

now we're all waiting that the cards don't have a cold bug so they can run a good 900/900 with the x6800 @ 4.9ghz to see some REAL ownage =D
wish you luck and i'm waiting for the new results unpatientely (?) (is this the way it should be writen? :P LOL )

I think that the POWER of Conroe will make the Nvidia SLI vs. ATI Xfire battle really erupt. Any day now the Asus P5NSLI and the P5N32-SLI Se Dlx will be on the scene with proper SLI support, possibly even QUAD-SLI support!

Conroe + QUAD SLI would be scary

Wasn't it said that nForce 5 has the same mem. controller as nForce 4? If so...

    Thank you

    Here is a few updates..

Ricky build in 2 hours this geek chiller

The temperature was not bad for a improvised chiller

    Basic insulation on the cards

Unfortunately the coold bug start at -10ºC in my X1900's cards without the mods , so even with the chiller we have to raise the temps to bench

We gonna try the Hipro5 mods for the X1900's we really hope we can countour the dam coold bug...

Hope we can since having this cascade stoped break my heart

We still have to work in the insulation, yesterday there was a lot humidity in the air and the condesation give us problems even with the chiller on the X1900's..

Before the humidity start to give us problems we have this conservative run at 4.800Mhz (with recalibreted cascades 4.900Mhz is possible) the cards near -3ºC idle and 15ºC load - so the speed of the X1900's was only 820-870

I really hope we can beat the 1200fps Lobby Low and the 520fps Lobby High, Car High near 360fps seems also very possible at 4.900Mhz and the memory at 1:1

More to come in this weekend

Really sucks to hear about the initial coldbug. Hopefully you guys find a way around it and make some good things happen...not that you already haven't. Can't wait for some more updates.
