    I keep checkin back here to see results and everyone keeps talking about pi times...why do we care about pi time!? I'm still trying to understand this. No ones actually given me a reasonable explination.

    Errr...I didn't mean anything by it...I'm mearly trying to understand the power behind the chip just like everyone else...I just don't understand it's relativity to anything...I guess it's just fun to beat records:-)

    I'm not certain there is a 'reasonable explanation' but to say that fast is fast. And that chip is seriously fast.

    Because it is a good measure of the computational power of a CPU and it is exciting to see folks pushing cutting edge hardware to the limit. That is the point of this forum.

    What I'm trying to understand is why you think it is a good idea to come and crap in a thread where a world record has just been set 5 times in a row and expect not to be banned.
