It is a very interesting bios with some options not included in previous revisions. I downloaded it and flashed when I saw it on TP a couple days ago...Must have been right after release.

I looked through here earlier for a thread, but didn't see one...It's actually why i'm back in here now. Anyone have any explainations of the new features experiances with it?

The +-10 temp thing puzzles me...Something I don't want to mess with until someone explains first.
    That is all.

    Peace and love.

    Add CPU temperature calibration option.
Does that mean it fixes the incorrect temperature readings with the opterons?

Awesome BIOS, I can tell already. Couple things to stand out were the temp adjustments, new drive data strength value (level 4), you can now key in you FSB! So simple but so useful and awesome.

Also it fixed my overvolting on the DRAM, before 2.5v would read 2.58 not it's back at 2.55 where it (sort of) belongs.

Highly recommended, I'm coming from 704-2BTA btw

That would make sense given the synchronisation of memory code with expert and venus, expert loving bh5 and venus loving both. I'll try this out tonight

I'd like to try this bios out, but I have a question for those of you that have used it already. Does it change the drive strength and data drive strength settings? For example, is drive strength 8 still the strongest? I've spent a alot of time getting my ram set right and don't wont to start over on it again.

    Thanks

And data drive strength come in percents, 00% 15% 30% 50% from what I remember. This is probably one of the best bios released to date. Works better than 704-2BTA to me, I can stabilize my bh-5 more easily than before.
