Ummm...Chew???? Please tell me that's a bug on your vcore reading cuz that kinda speed @ 1.40Vcore would make that cpu quite possibly the strongest I've EVER seen CONGRATS

Hehehe....I shoulda guessed that if @ 3300 he was @ -56 and then @ 3500 cpu temps were @ -31. My guess is that he's gotta be pushing ~1.80 - 1.85V for those kinda temps

I'm waiting for you for the low voltage x2
It's a bug stephen and i believe it was 1.76 volts. It had more but i figured I'd let someone else break it so it gives me something fun to do again, temps suck because my DI unit is ghetto.............I made it myself soldered and old swiftech water block base into a cap and soldered the pipe to cap....

Anyway more importantly cpu survived and board is drying out atm even though i already used a blow drier ill let it air out overnight.

I'm still waiting as well However, I did pick up a new toy to abuse a couple of days ago. I've yet to install her since I'm scared she's not gonna like -90C temps I'll give her a go soon though:

Eek runs back to North pole to hide.....That thing is gonna bug me thinks but you already know that. This chip I have will do more especially colder stephen but needs a little coaxing above 335 Ht etc weaken the drive strength I used 0/0-P/N drive strenght 50 % reduced dqs drive strength and weak drive.

Speak English Please!! (Those settings aren't on the DFI) I'm currently trying to devise a strategy to keep myself from pulling my hair out if this cpu won't boot. That's the reason why I'm a little partial to this cpu I've been testing (and No, it's not the one we were speaking of before )

Heh well the sapphire has those settings and I can actually shut down and power up full cold. I actually had to reset cmos twice as the board under cold didn't like the 4x X 335 or higher although is fine on air water. Still 3x x 335 or higher is right at the 1000 mark which is fine.

DI is water cooling, correct ...

For the average OC user [ those that oc but still like a full functioning system ] what type of issues would the Ati SB bring compared to the Uli ... any ideas?

When is the dfi version coming out ... any ideas ... will it have Uli or Ati SB

Would be nice to see a dfi rd 580 or dfi IDF 6150 soon

Yes DI = Dry Ice and that run was just preety much a test run to get a feel for the board under cold and test out that DI tube i made. I'll do more extensive testing with it soon now that i know how the board reacts and how cold the tube gets. I might use my 3700 sandy next time to see how the board helps in getting around the cold bug. There are some preety neat tweaks that i found the first time around.

    chew,

What kind of support can we honestly expect from Saphire?

I ask this because I see they still are working on their summer 2005 online store debut which tells me something about the company ...

You need not worry about sapphire support with this board. ATI has been supporting the reference line of boards and grayskull has been more than helpful with them. I can attest to that as not one of my bioses in my board is sapphires. They just want to make sure the bios is dead stable and rightly so as with as many voltage options this board has it could easily be a cpu/ram killer if there was a bug. I have yet to lose a cpu and no one can say that i haven't pushed them to the limits.
