Yeah, something like that, you can't do it when editing a previous post.
Oh man, where was my brain? I didn't even think about typing the tags. Well, i think you made it visible enough anyway, i'll leave it as isOriginally Posted by [timko]

DFI haven't announced anything so that's a pretty good sign they aren't rushing things like the RD480 board or Expert.Originally Posted by k0nsl

So no one knows about the hypertransport lanes? Also doesnt RD580 have all the PCIe lanes located on the northbridge?
The Rig
DFI Lanparty UT Nf4 SLI DR
Athlon 64 3500+
1 Gig OCZ VX DDR500
BFG GeForce 7800GT
160 Gig SATA HDD
CD-RW DVD-ROM Drive
Antec NeoPower
Thermaltake Tsunami
All PCIe lanes are from the northbridge like they should be. Also no HT lane reduction. RD580 is clearly the HT overclocking champion. This is ain't no joke of a solution like the green guys' one.

I can't go over 300 MHz HTT with this board with an X2 3800. I must have missed something.![]()
I'm pretty happy so far though. The games feel "snappier", and 3dmark scores are up.
I just gotta figure out why i can't crawl over 300 MHz.![]()
well, AT said they had to lower the htt multi to 4x just a littlebit over 300..Originally Posted by korda

Looks like a nice board but way too expensive to be useful in a non-crossfire setup.

Yes, let's hope they spend some extra time on this RD580 board, making it great. There hasn't been much news at all about their RD580; I've just seen that picture of it and that's pretty much all I have seen, nothing useful in regards to any news or specifications...Originally Posted by situman

I guess AT was using a newer bios as well.
According to CPU-Z it's bios 0201, dated 01/20/2006.
Why is this on sale in Sweden but NDAed everywhere else? xD

0307... Cool, back to the future with BIOSes!
Now that I think of it: why don't DFI BIOS include the year (in the usual naming it is)? You don't intend to release new bios for the SLI-DR/Ultra-D on 2006?

Hi,
I am having a few graphics issues with this board, when plying far cry as the computer warms up, the graphics go black and white and fuzzy, eventually I get the old blu-screen and a reset. I'm not the first person to have this problem, I'm pretty sure the 1900's are ok.......
