You need to install Microsoft's .NET prior to installing Watch Dog.

Any progress with the non-.NET version? I've got a bunch of 3.0 HT machines here dying to crunch in stealth mode.

I left the optimized files on three 3GHz P4 HTs. Ban me.
Sorry, I haven't had any time to work on it. Been too busy with work and doing things around the house right now. I'll try to get to it sometime soon though.Originally Posted by DDTUNG
where can I access the .ini file?
A wolf in wolves clothing.
Should be in :
C:\Program Files\D2OL Xtreme Watch Dog\
There, you should find the settings.ini file.

Bump. Any progress with non-.NET version? Maybe make a thread in the coder's corner if u need help (I'm no good with it).
Bump to you dear sir
Just installed in on my mom's comp. Made a pretty big difference compared to D2OL daddy... (sempron 2600+ with 1 ghz , and just for some office stuff )
When can we expect a non .net version of this fine software???
nag nag nag!!
Unfortunately no time soon, it’s been really crazy at work so I don’t have the time right now. Hopefully in the new year it will settle down a bit and I’ll have some free time again.
Just install .NET and be done with it!!!
I've found if you are running d2ol daddy as a service it doesn't even work.Just installed in on my mom's comp. Made a pretty big difference compared to D2OL daddy...
so what's better about this than d2ol daddy? just wondering?
System:
2600K / 8GB Corsair Vengeance PC15000
Asus Sabertooth P67 / MSI Twin Frozr II 6950 Crossfire
corsair 1000hx / Corsair 800D obsidian
Crucial M4 128GB SSD / Windows 7 Pro
Cooling:
Koolance 360 rev 1.1 CPU block / MCR320 QP rad
OCZ hydropulse 800 pump w/ EK-DCP 4.0 res
Primochill LRT Black tubing 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD
Use this dat file to remove the D2OLDaddy service created with my any of my installers.
It runs better as a service... some ppl have had problems getting D2OL daddy to work right on there rigs when it's running as a service.Originally Posted by ex2cib
the XS WD is totally out of the way.
Ya it's built as a native service instead of just trying to get a standard exe to run as a service with srvany.exe and instsrv.exe. It also has some advanced options as well like the ability to restart the d2ol services if they stop.Originally Posted by Rodzilla

by chance, will this work with the standard d2ol client? I dont really want to install everything and ect, could I just install rod's client, and move the node file to that directory and use this, or are you planning on making it compatible with sengents version?

I can picture in my mind a world without hate, a world without violence.
And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
Yes it will work with the standard client as well.
