    Yeah I'm very concerned with BIOS choice. I have a Connect3D Coming, can I flash it with the modded Sapphire GTO2 BIOS?

    Nicks, as far as I know, youll have to pull the heatsink and check to see if you got a R480 core or not, If so, I believe the mod process is the same. The thing with the Saphire is it is just a guarenteed r480 core.

    I added this section, since so many people ask "can I mod my card?".

    * Download and install ATITool
    * Hold down the shift key and click on "settings"
    * Now scroll to the bottom of the list, you should see four new values listed. (The screenshot here is from an X850 XT PE)

    Only the red marked numbers are of interest here. If you do not have F for the red numbers, your card can not be modded.

    This card rocks!!

    Flashed with no issues, i did have to force the flash but it works.

    ATI tool shows 16active pipelines, running 3D05 now at 520/540

    Best $235 i've ever spent!

    Screens to follow....

    EDIT:
    Here are the screens, i'm just going to link them cause they are fairly large (1600x1200). Both ss, where done at 520/540. I'm going to try 540/590 then head to bed. More tomorrow.

    hehe.. this is fun

    Last one for tonight:
    http://www.needmoreboost.com/wes/x800pe23.jpg

    I tried 600/600 and did a 3D01 nature run, it was about to finish then crashed with a vpu recover. So i'm sure it'll do somewhere between 540-600

    Eince,
    Similar temps here.
