I have same stepping Sierra. This chip has dual personalities it seems. One day 3650 on 1.69v, the next 3688 on 1.65v

Sounds like you have a very nice chip. What cooling? Are those speeds SuperPi stable or 3DMark01 stable? There is a difference.

Got my Mushkin today...

So far a little dissapointed..

Tried it at 14x243 2-2-2-5... Ran great. So I thought I would try 13x262. No Boot This was all tried on 704-2BT.. Im now trying 510-2fix in yellow slots.

I ran the following Timings

2-2-2-5-7-14-3120-2-2-2-3-auto-enabled
Skew Auto (also tried increase)
0 (tried 255)
Level 8 (tried auto)
Level 3 (tried auto)
7ns (also tried 8)
Fast
5ns (also tried 6)

Tried those at 3.3v, 3.4v, 3.5v, 3.6v

Notta.. No boot. Hangs on verifying DMI. Yes I have active cooling.

Any suggestions?

Trying loosening Trfc to 16 or 17. Also check the other timings that people are using in this thread.

Well switching from 704-2BT to 510-2Fix has me booting at the above timings with only changing trfc to 17 and Tref to 3072.

I will fine tune from here. Thanks !

Sounds like you have a very nice chip. What cooling? Are those speeds SuperPi stable or 3DMark01 stable? There is a difference.

Very nice speed. I have a baker GPU cooler that I'm thinking of having converted into a CPU one since I don't bench 3D anymore.

When working with new sets like this it's best to dedicate a couple of days to solid Memtesting and burn-in. Find out whats working from default and work your way up from there. Your good in Yellow slots, not sure of newer BIOS as I'm still on 4.14.3 (FX-25 )

Plus there's more to it than memory timings & memory voltage. You need everything set to work, LDT, chipset voltages, ect. I would drop multi and explore your max memory clocks over a couple of days of Memtesting. When you have found them then move to maxing system speed. You can expect about 5Mhz lower memory clocks when running max CPU mhz vs low multi.

Its stable SuperPI32m at 13x262 2-2-2-5 3.5v So im very pleased.

Now for 14x26? 2-2-2-5 and get to 3700Mhz ! Lots of testing coming this weekend.

Also got some Ceramique for my LS. Was using some generic TIM for all my other ss's at 3623mhz.

My problem is that i can go in memtest up to 3,55Ghz ~ 1,67Vcore without any errors but when i load windows the sys will freeze after 10 seconds.

Tried to boot with looser timings, other multi etc... no way to get it stable above 3,4xx

Maybe some of the experts will have some hints for me.

I got a 0531, I hope it hits at least 3500 under my vapo.. Im not gonna test it under subzero till I get my chilly1 tube, whenever that happens

I run 3303 mhz 24/7 @ 1.42v p95 stable/gaming. So far the max ss in this thread is still my top =\. 3623 1m. Need to test one night soon maybe everything is broken in better and I can get on these redlines a little.

Ok guys, many thx for the quick infos about the 0530. At first my Vapo will be modded with a new evap and refilled with R404a. Then the load temps should be better

New screens will then follow.

The only I seen so far is OPB's.
They are just as good as the FX 55 CH 0442 GPMW's.

I had the same problem with my chip when I first got it, couldn't get into windows above 3.45Ghz but could memtest upto 3.57Ghz @ 1.62V.... All I did was run memtest test #8 for 48 hours at 3.57Ghz @ 1.62V one I did that it booted straight into windows at 3.57Ghz but would crash with prime95 or toast! So I lowered the speed to 14 x 250 & windows was 32Mb stable so then I proceeded to burn the CPU in with CPU-Burnin & games... After a week or so I played with the voltages & managed to burn the cpu so it only need 1.58V for 3.5Ghz which really impressed me

I can play games at 3.54Ghz no problem but PI 1Mb fails on the 19th pass evertime

With a little less VCore and a little more tweaking, you might be able to do this. I'm using a stock Vapochill LS. Almost have it stable at 3660MHz.
