Been taking your advice in this thread and here is where I am right now. P5Q-Pro 0901 Bios, E8400
9X450 100% Stable RAM is at 5/4 540MHZ
Whenever I drop ratio to 7-8 and set RAM to 500MHZ and try 1/1 I get errors in Windows.
Should I be happy with 4050mhz running 5/4 DDR2-1081 and just try to start working on memory timings or should I try to get the higher FSB?
Im not sure what higher FSB will get for me if RAM is already running 1081mhz at decent settings.
I am REALLY happy with my overclock so far.
I was just wondering if anyone here has noticed that with BIOS 1102 you can now run PL7 with both pull-ins 1 & 3 enabled? I first tried PL7 Pull-in 3 enabled and it survived 1 hour large FFT's. I then tried PL7 2&3 enabled but my computer locked up after 10 minutes of prime. Next was PL7 1 & 3 enabled and I am now sitting at 1 hour prime and still going.
This was all done with the following settings:
400 Strap | 1066MHz
5-5-4-15-3-35
DRAM Static Rd: enabled
DRAM Rd Trainging: Disabled
Mem OC Charger: Disabled

DRAM Voltage: 2.14V
NB Voltage: 1.22V
Loadline: Enabled
CPU PCIE Speed Spectrum: Disabled
CPU/NB Skew: Normal
Newest feature (added in 1102): Performance
After this passes two hours I'm going to bump up the NB voltage to 1.32V and try to get Pullin 2 to work.

Edit: I just wanted to add that so far I haven't seen any benefits from enabling PL7 in Everest bandwidth tests.
ok here's mine, need help to make it stable at 3.8

I could not get 7 to load at all with 1 and 3 enabled all disabled all enabled,,. I can however get 8 with all enabled to load though. I don't know what they all mean any way so. Wow you need to change your pl setting to 10 man. "Rusty". "Common Performance Level 05" needs to be ten or more. That is the 1:1 setting and the pl sucks on it? You also have toi much voltage on the nb you only need 1.26 or 1.28.
anything else ?
prime fails almost right away with threads 1 and 3.
p.s> do I need to enable all of these?

CPU PLL Voltage: 1.56
FSB Termination Voltage: 1.32

NB Voltage: 1.28
with ya current setup you can get some more bandwith with a lower PL and later on try clock twister at moderate (depending on ya ram), in bold are the settings for 500FSB... most important you need more Vcore and NB voltage than with 9 multi and 450FSB...
Rusty try more Vcore mate, try 1.35 for a while....
Yenclas if you are sure your CPU already needs 1.36 Vcore for 3.6Ghz mate you got a mediocre batch... if you want more you prolly have to give 1.4 or more for a few hundred Mhz more...one of the reasons I told you to stick with ya current stable OC at 3.6ghz...
Just a question how are ya temps ? at idle at and under load ? if they are pretty high you might want to check if your IHS of your CPU is flat... if not you prolly have to lap it...
He just copied my template mate, he's on auto so most of the time PL will be 10 or more... no worries there
hi,guys here the newest bios P5Q.ASUS-DELUXE-1003 musst be final

edit:do you know why the SixEngine_V10016 cannot see on the homepage by deluxe only p5q,p5q.pro and so on you see the V10016 but by p5q-deluxe is still the old 10012?? also on the servers cant see the new one...you know why?
sorry my english^^
Hi everyone, I've got a bit of a problem. I've been running prime95 without issue, however when I try to play games (Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect...) the games freeze after about 5-10 minutes. I have had it up to 3.6 (9x400) with 1.45v and prime would run fine and I think I could run with even lower vcore. My temps were good too (around 63C on the hottest core) and at 3.2 (55-56C), what could be causing the games to crash? I am new to OCing and any advice or help would be appreciated.

new option in the new bios 1003..... cpu margin enhancement......what this is doing?
edit:somebody know if i can use the sixengine from the p5q.pro ... p5q....p5q-e also for the p5q.deluxe?
on the homepage you can see all p5q becoms a new version 10016 but only the p5q-deluxe have still the old one 10012..why? epu must be the same chip on all mobos so can i use oder better wait?
