    LiLi Tower

    LiLi Tower

    Hi there,
The new start of a new build, called the LiLi Tower.
I've always had a kind of love for the Lian Li cubes
Not one but two Lian Li PC-V351
One is new and the other one has some changes already

First i wanna thank some sponsors of this build

    Mr. Freddy

    En Mr. Ruud

Thanks to these guys my start is going to be a little faster and nicer. Thnx!!!

    The hardware

    - I7 920 D0
    - 6x 2GB Corsair DDR3 1600
    - 2 x EVGA GTX470
    - Antec True Power Quatro-1000
    - 2 x Aqua-computer Aquaero VF
    - Asus Rampage III GENE
    etc.

    Water cooling

    - 2 x Black Ice GT Stealth 240 Black
    - 2 x EK GTX470 waterblock
    - EK Supreme CPU block
    - 2 x EK-Multioption RES X2 - 150 Advanced
    - 2 x Swiftech 355
    - Tygon slang
    - Bitspower Fittingen

    And more.........

The color is gonna be black and transparent

    Some pics of the LiLi's

    Number 1

    And number 2

Number 2 is a little modded already

the top ia gonna be different, not with these fangrills

This is the only thing i have from this Lian, but it's not bad. Have some nice ideas for this

Number 1 is complete, this one is gonna be the bottum

Psu and Hdd's gonna be under the motherboard

The first idea was like this...

    But like this is better

On top al the water cooling stuff is gonna be placed

    2 rads, 2 reservoirs en 2 pumps.

    To be continued!!!

    Grtzzz.

Last week i did some measuring and drilling the rivets

Sawn a piece out of the 5,25 bay for the cables from the gpu

Gpu in it, already did the sleeving

Al of the remaining cables can be put behind the bay

And these grilz will be put here with transparent fans with white leds

Flipped the HDD bay, so now have space for 2 HDD's and a SSD

Placed the motherboard tray, also flipped

    Nice slots for the cables

This space is gonna be sawn out of the top. (formerly the bottom)

The back is gonna be like this, but painted black and i need to get/make a plate for the gpu

Always nice to get a new motherboard. A sweet little rampage

    The Asus Rampage III Gene

    fat box

    The motherboard

Republic for gamers, for a non gamer

6 Slots on a small motherboard, i like it

    Fill it up, with..............

    the EK-RAM Dominator

    Shiny

    installed it

    Using a EK-Supreme HF

And 2 Black Ice GT Stealth 240

These are gonna be placed in the top Lian

    Fits perfectly

Placed the motherboard in the lowwer Lian

Not much space anymore, what is a good thing in this build

And my 2 GTX470 in it

Everything fits, in the top Lian i have a lot of space for the watercooling

Now i needs to decide which reservoir i am gonna place

    To be continued

    Grtzzz.

    Update!!!

    Hi everybody
This weekend i had a lot of sawning to do
Almost nothing is left from the Lian
The middle of the 2 Lians

And the top of the Lian

There gonna be 2 Aquaero's VF inside, for this 2 times a slot

Put it al together and brainstorming again

Made a little mistake, i tought that the aquaero,s where the same
    but the are different versions,

So i had to drill the holes for the bolds again more to the left

    just a little bit different

For the front 2 times a slot for the displays

Had some Acryl covers for the aquaero, but the aren't the same color. So need to order 1 more

    The hole cover

Made a acryl midplate. This times 2, one for the top and one for the midplate

    Did some drawning

    And drilling/sawning time

Made holes for the cpu and the Rams and made a slot for the gpu's

Removed the tape, needs to be cleaned

And needs to straighten some lines, but this is the idea

And the BP fillports, a total of 4. @ for the cpu and 2 for the RAM

Second Lian on top, and more brainstorming.

This is it for now, but more to come

    Grtzzz.

i envy you, lol, now i can never justify spending thousands of dollars on a CNC mill

right now ive done all my strait edge stuff with a steady hand and dremel cutting disks, but its tough getting close to the corners. pre-drilling the corners can really help prevent a bad snap, and i will probably pick up a jig saw.

You're taking a big risk with your Dremel
i really dont like the combination, acryl and dremel
it cracks and melt, believe me, try a fretsaw (hopefully it's the right word for it )
i do everything now with this saw, example motherboard cover

wow cant believe i missed this build, so far nice work mate! Cant wait to see more !!

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    Update!!!

This week Coolermaster has givven me some nice stuff for my build
A nice package with all kind of things

    80mm fans with white leds

A nice psu tester (sometime i blow things up)

With upgrade units, for more load

    Black screws and other stuff

    A beautifull mouse, the Sentinel

    And....... the turbine masters

which gonna be placed like this.

Also i had some black aluminium panels, so lets get to work

    everything measured

    Drilled the holes

    And placed on the back

    mounted on the back

And the fans for the radiators are finished

    Power up

The are real quiet, and a lot of air

And finally my acryl has arrived
So sawn everything and drilled the holes

    Top left

    Top right

    Left

    Right

    And placed on each other

    Turned around

On each side there's gonna be brushed aluminium.
Th original panels i have finished already

    Left

    And right

    That's all for today

    Grtzzz.

    Update

Today i was brainstorming about the rads
First i wanna to make some costum Brackets
But dont think thats looks nice
So i did something different, have maked a radiator tray
Only need to Cut out 2 times a Rectangle for the airflow
    Made slots for the fittings

    Just like this

    Slots around the fittings

Only need to connect the radiators together

    Some highflow fittings

    Looks nice i think

And the one on the top

The pumps are gonna be like this

I did a lot of thinking about the reservoirs, and tried a lot of things

I have spinbays, EK tubes 150 and EK tubes 250

Had taken some pics what i had tried

    The spinbays like this

    The 150mm tubes

    Or like this

The 250mm tubes, but then horizontal

Was getting crazy about this problem, but then.............
Not horizontal or vertical, but in a inclined position

From the top. Have a lot of space in the middle for the tubes

Left side. Pump with a lot of rotary fittings

Right side, almost the same as the left. Only the tubes gonna be with a different angle

    That's it
    Grtzzz to you all

Wow dude, loving how yove manage to set the reservoir up like that on a angle, really different!

    Update: Glow in the dark

Last week i did some small stuff. I've tested the airflow through the mesh
It wasn't that good, so i've sawn a piece out of it

    Needs a paintjob

1 rectangle is bigger then the other one, this is because i dont wanted to see the suspension from the rads

Also i had some Glostrings, nice stuff

I hoped they where white, but they are bleu/green, but doesnt matter.
    Had to change my midplate

    Looks fine in the dark

    like this

This is also coming in a vertical line in the front

    A nice glow, i think

Purchased a FrozenQ reservoir. The blue one

2 reservoirs looks good, 3 even better

    Nice light in it

Only i have 2 different colors blue, sow need to brainstorm for that

And need to make something for the pumps

Also i have sold my 3 GTX470, and get some other nice gpu's

    Gtx480, really nice cards

Nickel blocks on it, looks better with this build

    Very shinny backplates

The hole thing is really havy, so need to make something for this

On the corners maked a kind of pilar

I am in love with the backplates

    To be continued

    Grtzzz.

It looks great and those backplates are outstanding! I need two of those myself, now if I could find them in-stock! Keep it up

EDIT; I just found them....ordered, like I need them.
