Love the new DVID option on these new BIOS, but I ran into a problem where you could hear some electric buzzing coming from the motherboard when it's idling and when you run prime or something that forces full voltage it goes away. I think with the overclocks and at idle state the voltage may be a bit too low causing this problem. Maybe allowing us to set the idle vcore would be a good idea.
Has anyone noticed this?
My voltage settings for DVID enabled.

I do have CPU PLL changed but that shouldn't affect dvid.

I played with the c state options more, just disabling c1e and leaving c3/c6/c7 disabled works too. Its only c1e when it is enabled that is causing the squealing.
Hi there XS :wave:, I think this is my first post here.
On my UD5 the normal vcore seem to vary depending on what multi / bclk settings i use, not sure which one it is, or if it requires both parameters to be within certain values for it to change, so I'm wondering where does the BIOS get this value from? How is it calculated?

The only thing I hate about updating my BIOS is the fact that I have to tweak all the settings again, and most of the times I find that the settings I had used with a previous BIOS don't tend to work for me, so I have to start all over again. . . :(

If yes can i have an explanation of them how they are used & can they improve OCing ?
DVID works great on mine. At 4.4ghz used to idle at 1.36v now idles at 1.2v, idle temps dropped 4C, idle power dropped 35 watts (kow meter) 32 watts cpu by everest. No buzzing sound on mine with c1e and eist enabled, still linx stable, and S3 still works perfectly.
