Any chance of testing it using the Xtreme preset?

Interesting, your 6870 is about 2.5k GPU score behind my 5850 at the same clocks (Well 1300mhz memory).
Kit guru website reviewed the 6850 Black Edition card:
http://www.kitguru.net/components/gr...-exclusive/18/
They got it over 1Ghz on GPU.Pretty neat stuff.
Sapphire 6850@850/1200
Tried MSI ab/rivatuner but above 850 I get Lockups/freezes.. waiting for TriXX to come avaible.
Also a option to disable powerplay with CFX
I just got my 6870 yesterday (Sapphire), and to be honest I'm not really used to OC'ing VC's...
I can say that I'm really impressed with the performance and video quality though!
My 3D06 score was right on par with the 4870/4850 CF settup I was running (before oc'ing then new card).
I used CCC to overclock it and ended up with 945 core and 1135 Mem (auto OC).
I get the feeling the card actually has alot more in it because the fan speed never really even kicked up, and I'm sure CCC doesn't push the card too far.
Could someone reccommend a good bench to really push the card, so I can stress test with confidence?
Also, since TriXX isn't available yet to allow voltage adjustment, what would be the best software to let me push past 1000 core (Afterburner)?
Thanks... Dave

@ ^ = nice, like i was told 6850@1000/1100 will had same score as 6870 def
I have installed the one that came on the CD, it is seriously buggy at the moment. Has its own mind about what voltages it wants to apply. I am not even sure its working properly.
I will upload it when I get time. Asus really needs to fix it.

Gaul: I'm interested to know how do the gtx460, hd6850, and hd6870 compare at the same clock speeds. can you test?
