    Any Yorkfield Quad numbers yet?

No-one got any shiny new Yorkies cooking yet?

I'm waiting with baited breath for some Yorkfield Quad overclock posts - seeing the Q9300 already available in the UK, and good ones due next week, I thought someone would post some numbers soon.

Please hurry - I need to get in quick before the GF blows my upgrade budget on shoes

Tnx, I had seen those threads but was hoping for some poppin' fresh retail numbers with Q9300 actually wild.

Guess I'll hold on until 19th for Q9450 and Q9550 love, and keep the GF outta the shops in the meantime.

Good luck on the latter quest
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

How expensive is the q9450 going to be? Would it be better to get a q9450 or a q6700 once the q6700 prices come down (I think the q6700 will only be $275)? I plan on overclocking, but no higher than 3.4-3.6ghz. If it matters, I will probably get an EVGA 780i board.

Q9450 is currently on sale at BLT for about $350 USD. If cost is an issue for you then the Q6600 or 6700 is a much better buy.

I hate these new multi's. I don't think many people will get 500*8 stable 24/7... I guess I'll have to wait for more numbers to show up.

    Personally I'm waiting for nehalem.

nope, you cant make that conversions , dont work like that

    example:

something that cost 600$ dolares in US >>>> ~550€ in Portugal ( not 383€)

something that cost 350$ dolares in US >>>> ~300€ in Portugal ( not 223€)

    another example:

9800GX2 will cost 599$ dolares in US >>> portugal already in pre-order 550€

    regards

That simply means in Europe everything is highly overpriced compared to US.
Europe countries don't have half a world working for them to make their prices so cheap

If possible, i always try to buy something in US, even with shipping cost included it is often cheaper.

If the guys from the customs don't intercept it, I can assure you you will pay a premium then...
