Yes, that is right. The aquaero has default profiles for all three sensors that we offer. I also recommend to use these profiles when using one of them because we also did some other adjustments in the background to improve the readings which can not be achieved with a manual setting since we don't know the characteristics of other sensors.

-Aquaero 5 PRO comes in bundle with the Aquasuite Cd's or I'll have to buy it separately?
-Someone with a inudible/low low noise build could tell me how much noise the AQ High Flow meter will make at low flow and at around 1GPM-200l/h?
-Someone was able to use the Swissflow meter SF800 (here) with right reads on Aquaero 5? Could you share the working settings?

The software might be included with the AE5 by now. It's doesn't really matter though. You can always download it from http://aquacomputer.de/software.html.

As you can see, the flow sensor directly follows the pumps, and when filling the loop I powered the pumps through an external power supply and the flow was visibly higher. When running from the aquaero the pumps run significantly at lower power... (I did plug the 4pin molex of both fans to the PSU).

I understand you can get aquasuite to monitor pretty much everything you want, problem is I have a hard time figuring it out right now :/

Would be nice if someone could give us a little "step by step" demonstration on how to configure a chart, or nything actually, then it would be easier figuring out the rest I guess...

I am haveing the same problem with my A5 XT it works fine without the faceplate but with the faceplate on it gose nuts it will run some what normal with a few random hicups as long as you dont touch it but as soon as I touch the faceplate or buttons it gose crazy i have tried optional black faceplate didnt help, tried rubber standoffs didnt help, tried mounting in my case to see if that would ground it nope didnt help,tried putting scotch tape over the back of the faceplate then along with rubber standoffs didnt help, I have tried ajusting the button sensitivity didnt help. I have spent several days trying to figure this out to no avail the only solution that i have found is to use it without the faceplate i can tell you with all the money that i have spent on this system and accessories I should not have to go through all of this crap am I wrong in thinking this thing should work out of the box? has anyone figured this problem out if not i guess I am going to try and RMA this unit and try again.

Anyone know where I could pick up a Aquaero 5 XT with remote in the US? Seems everyone is out of stock, could I purchase out of country without a VAC charge?

So if I hook up a MCP-655 Pump with speed control, how do I control it from the AE5? Do I set the pump to 5 with the little dial and then use the AE5 to slow it down if desired?

Should I maybe be using PWM (or PMW, not sure) for the speed control or just a regular channel?

Hi Mate

Set to 5 and control speed with AE5 between 7.2v and 12v. Dont go lower than 7.2v or it might stop, better to go for 7.6v just to be sure.
Use normal channel NOT PWM
Use the Aquasuite software and you can see what channels are what. It wont mention PA2s though, they will just appear as Ch5, 6 & 7.
The PA2s need to each have unique id's set with Aquasuite 4.72 from 50, 51 ,52 corresponding with Ch5, 6 & 7. Thats how you tell which is which.
Of course you also need to daisy chain the PA2s to the A5 high speed aquabus port AFTER you have individually hooked them up 1 AT A TIME to USB for initial configuration with Aquasuite 4.72 to set the address Id's as above. Once configured the USB cable is not required for the PA2s as only the A5 will need USB.

Yes Ch1 and 4 or Ch1 & 3, doesnt make any difference as long as your not on 2 adjacent channels. The A5 will cope fine with 2x D5s on it so I would recommend putting your heavier current loads on the PA2s and provide them with some active air flow if possible.

If you look for my build log you will see lots of information that might come in handy, I have a fully configured A5 with 6 PA2s, 4 D5 pumps, 2 flow meters, 27 odd fans and several sensors....

PS.
1. If you want startboost to work on the PA2s connected to the AE5 you have to first disable startboost on the PA2s by connecting via USB to each PA2 individually and turn startboost off in Aquasuite 4.72.
2. There's is also another PA2 startboost setting while your using 4.72 that you may want to disable too if your using a fan or pump on them without an RPM signal. You need to uncheck startup boost parameter "active when no speed signal is measured". The PA2 defaults to 100% when no RPM signal is present as a failsafe. You need to uncheck this box to disable it as otherwise it wont reduce the voltage below 12V, which means you cant vary the speed. This is a safety feature though, designed for applying maximum voltage if the RPM signal stops. So it should be left on if you are using an RPM signal on the PA2s.

Can the PA2's be programmed with Aquasuite 2012? You seem to emphasize 4.72. If so, where can I get 4.72?

So, when programming, I don't need the AE5, just hook the PA2 directly to the USB mobo header?

Do I need to update any firmware?

What is startboost?

You need to download 4.72 from the same place as 2012. 2012 doesnt support PA2 on USB, only as a slave on the A5.
Yes directly connect to USB header for config before you connect to A5.
Yes probably, though they may now be shipping with latest firmware. 4.72 will tell you what the latest firmware is and download it for you.
Startboost is used to over-ride the controllers current/voltage settings during startup. This is in case you have a high current/voltage device that needs max power for startup before the controller takes over with your assigned settings.
It can also be used to limit power for current surge which is how I use it to stop my fans from tripping an overcurrent at startup which would turn them off! 1 strand of fans in my setup peaks at 2.2Amps at startup so I have to use startboost set for 40% to help limit the current so it doesnt trip the protection circuit and turn them off!

Thanks for the great explanation. I am curious, what fans are they and how many of them do you have on the strand? I will have one strand of 8 1850 GTs and another of 4 1850 GTs. The first should be my biggest draw at start up.

Just looked into RMAing My A5 XT and not worth the shipping cost to send it back so im stuck with it. Has anyone figured out a work around with the faceplate issue yet ??>??

The problem with the hypersensitive that some customers experience is well known to us. We already have worked out a solution to that which will be available in around two weeks. Customers which already own an aquaero and experience problems will be able to convert their aquaeros by a very easy to do modification.

With the current firmware you would be able to deactivate the touch controls so they would not bother you and you can use the remote control in the meantime.

If you want to try out something now: remove the front cover and carefully remove the plexiglas cover. It is attached with a double-sided sticky tape. For a few customers it helped to remove this tape. We use it because normally without this tape the touch controls will not work correctly.
Another thing is the shielding. Some people said it helped to shield the side brackets of the aquaero against the case while others even tried to get a better contact by roughening the surfaces which have contact. Well, it is a mystery...

Question how much will the mod cost ?

Question 2 dose the A5 Pro version have any of the same issues?

My fans are cooler master R4 silent series 90cfm 2000RPM units. (not the sickleflow units, although they do have the same blades they have a different motor control system)
I have 4 rads with 6 fans per channel all running 6 fans per PA2. They draw .37A each at startup and spin from about 4.5v>12v. Under full RPM they draw 1.9A per channel. A lot of other fans out there are much less power hungry though, especially the 1850GT's. So you could run twice as many per channel and still be fine.

Well PB, thanks for the help but I just went into a holding pattern due to a bad LCD on my AE5. I flashed it and it never returned. It did look cool for about 2 minutes. :)

I have the air in, air out and case temp taped with kapton tape (air in to a fan filter, air out to the frame of a fan, case temp in between cards), the rest are these, these or these :)

Guys i have problem. When i plug in 8 fans: Phobya G-Silent 14 1100rpm Red LED, i have very high temp on Fan power amplifier - that is 95+ degrees. This is how that looks:

Has anyone tried using Aquasuite 2010 B6 yet? I tried to update my firmware to 1014 and it just keeps saying "Error!, reflash firmware" and the software no longer communicates with my AE5.

Look up - i have b6 and no problem with update ae5 to 1014

At the moment it is not clear how we will offer that. Of course people with problems should get it for almost free but this also brings us to the problem that also people without problems want to have it. It's new, it's shiny - I must own it even if I have no advantages at all :D

Does the red LED at the back work? No matter if it blinks or stay on permanently: in this case you have a chance to recover it. Remove all unnecessary connections with exception of the power. When turned off, place jumpers on the temperature sensors 5 to 8. Start the device afterwards and you should come up with a new screen which tells you that your device is in recovery mode now. Turn it off, remove the jumpers, attach USB and run the aquasuite. You should be now able to flash the firmware again.

Maybe you should try a reset before flashing. Follow the instructions above but only place a jumper on temperature sensor 8!

Shoggy, here is what I got.

The red light on the back was on. Also, everything else seemed to work except the LCD. I tried all 4 fan channels and a couple temp sensors and they were ok. Also, the Aquabus seemed to see the extras from my PA2's.

I powered off the PC
I put jumpers on temp sensors 5, 6, 7 and 8 on the AE5
I pluged the power into the AE5
I turned on the PC
I left it on for about 5 minutes but never got any text on the LCD about recovey mode
I powered off the PC
I removed the jumpers from temp sensors 5, 6, 7 and 8 on the AE5
I hooked up the USB cable to the AE5
I powered back on the PC
I launched Aquasuite 2012 beta 6 and flashed the bios (1014 I think)
The AE5 immediately beeped about three times, quite loudly. I had no LCD
I powered off the PC
I powered on the PC
I am able to see all the sections in the software but still have nothing on the LCD


What do you suggest I try now?

OK, the controller is working correctly so I guess your display is damaged when you don't see anything. It is only plugged to the main controller so you could try to remove it and plug it back again. Maybe some bad contact.

Plugging and unplugging the LCD. Here is where I am at not. the red light on the read is on solid. Also, as soon as i plug in the USB connection, even with the PC turned off, ithe AE5 beeps a few times and the backlight comes on and the three touch buttons light up solid red. When I power on the PC it remains the same way.

I have a quick question for aquero 5 owners or possibly Shoggy if he sees this, is it possible to configure the unit to keep the pump and fans running off the aquaero 5 after the pc has powered down using the new software in conjunction with the relay plug and the atx extension you sell? If it isnt would it be feasible to implement in the future?

That is not possible and also will never be because when your PC is turned off you don't have any 12V supply.

Also don't believe in that idiotic marketing that you would have any advantages by using this feature. When there PC is off the temperatures fall down immediately and there is absolutely not reason to cool that any further.

There is definitely a benefit. In a OC environment there is a lot of system restarting when testing settings. any board i have had recently shuts down the power when changing settings as well.

So by keeping it running you save on pump and fan motor wear and tear. I myself run a separate power supply to my water cooling for this very reason.

Not saying this is a feasible option for this device. Just saying there is a definite benefit and want for this.

When you connect the relay parallel to the power button of your case you will not need the standby cable.

You would only need it when you want to use the ATX break adapter and when USB (which normally powers your aquaero when the PC is turned off) is not connected. In this case you would not be able to turn on the PC anymore when it has been turned off by the relay because when it breaks the power, also the main power of the aquaero gets interrupted and the relay is not able to switch back in its normal position. By using the standby power the relay is able to switch back so you can turn on your PC again.

A PC power switch is a normally open switch, correct ?

When wiring the relay into the switch I use pins 1 and 3 on the relay plug. Does the order matter (positive or negative)?

Can I just wire them directly to the switch (along with the wires going to the mainboard) as opposed to splicing them into the middle somewhere?

Yes, the power button is a open connection so only when it is closed something will happen (power on/off, standby etc.).

The order does not matter since there is no positive or negative. Image it the following way: the negative line is already on the mainboard while the positive line is connected to the button with two ends. So by pressing the button you will close this line and something will happen. Of course in this case it does not matter how you connect it since this wire has no specific polarity.

You can connect them where you like: at the button, at the mainboard or somewhere in between ;) It will always be the same when the connection is closed by the button or the relay.

I hooked up my AQ5, and everything powers on and i get readings etc, but, it doesnt get recognized by Aquasuite.
When i try to install aquasuite 2012, it tells ma i need .NET v4, i install ti and still nothing.
Ive tried searching for USB device etc. but nothing, Windows recognizes it, but it doesnt show up in my Aquasuite.

any ideas?

I remember seeing a similar post where the individual thought he had .Net 4.0 installed but discovered it was not the Full Version of .Net 4.0. I would start there. Go the the website, download and install the full version and try again.

Yeah, the Aquasuite 2012 software generates an error requesting the .NET 4 Client Profile version. However, you need the full .NET 4 version for it to install properly.

That would be me :D I had the 4.0 Client installed as requested but it would keep asking to install it upon launch. Finally tried to install the full 4.0 package and it worked :)

The Aquaero has 4 fan channels and you will be able to control as many fans as you can without exceeding the each channels output and the overall Aquaero output (more than 1 fan on each channel). Each fan channel can deliver 1.65A and the maximum combined of all channels is 5A. I'm not sure what fans you are trying to use, but depending on which will determine if you can or cannot. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that 10 fans will most likely exceed the output. You will need a PowerAdjust2.

For example 3 Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000's utilize 1.8a at normal speed. You will only be able to run 2 Ultra Kaze's (1.2a) on a single channel. You may be able to run 8 Ultra Kaze's (2 per channel), but you would be approaching the XT's thermal limits.

Also, since you want to control two PMP-450's you will definitely need a PowerAdjust2.

So what is the different between the xt or Lt.

Also to make sure if I understand if I want to control the 2 pumps and the fans I will need the 5 alone with a power adjust 2.

Ok, so i got everything up and running, recognized and set up my curve controls etc... what i wanna know, is how to setup the virtual sensors, to work with cpu temps lats. because now i am working with water temps, which is less than ideal.

Any ideas which softwarfe to use etc?

The XT includes Aquaero main board, screen, remote and the heatsink. The LT is just the Aquaero main board. You would get the LT if you want an aquaero but don't want to mount it in a drive bay or you don't need the screen. If you get the LT, you should definitely get the heatsink or the waterblock.

The Gentle Typhoons AP-15 are only 0.083 amps per fan so you may be able to get away with just the Aquaero and no power adjust. You would split the fans up between Ch 1 - 3 and both pumps would go on Ch 4 with a splitter.

Forgot to ask. Would I be able to connect a couple of sensors to it also. Like a flow meter and a temp sensor for a res.

@barfastic: the software sensors have not been integrated yet. Will take a few weeks before that feature will be available.

@wetfit9: you can connect up to 8 temperature sensors and two flow sensors directly to the aquaero board.

Ok guys I know I am a noop. But all n all this what I plan on running and you guys let me know if it is possible.

2x 450 koolance pumps
1x aquaero flow meter
1x res temp sensor
1x in line temp sensor
9x maybe 10x ap-15 fans
Water block for aquaero 5 xt

Also would I have room to use any of the sensors that come with it to place around the case.

Please if you feel I need anything else let me know. Also would I have room for anything else.

Ok, so pretty basic question, but I really cant seem to be able to read these many pages and figure it out...sorry about that. But back to my question. I want to run a single MCP 355 and probably around 5 GT's 1850/2150's and a 3 other fans or so...can a single LT do it?

I have had my water block on and off 2 or 3 times. Mine initially had the plastic screws that bottomed out. It took me a few times, on and off, to get it fixed and now I took it apart again. The thermal tape is not in real good shape anymore. What can i use to replace it? Also, how tight to you tighten the 3 screws. I replaced the plastic ones with metal and it is quite easy to put stress on the PCB. The water block certainly does not fit on the four little chips very well. You can see it starting to bow when you tighten the end water block screws. It also bows if you tighten up the end brackets too tight.

Would someone be able to advise if I would be able to run 3x Akasa Apache fans per channel (totalling 6 at the moment, accross 2 channels)?? I'm not very good at working out the power requirements :(

I'm running two loops, one cpu and one gpu so would like to have all 3 fans on a rad (per loop) to adjust to the same rpm, based on temps (taken from software I think at this point)

You can run all of that using an XT. Ten AP-15's use 9.96 Watts (or 0.8 amps) and two PMP-450's use 29.28 watts (or 2.44 amps) for a total of 39.24 watts/3.24 amps.

The configuration would have to be:

CH 1 AP-15 5x
CH 2 PMP-450
CH 3 AP-15 5x
CH 4 PMP-450

You can be flexible with the fans on ch 1 and 3. For instance you can do 6 and 4 or 3 and 7. Since you would only be able to have two fan channels, you would have to control all of those fans as 1. Also, you will only be able to get the RPM's off of one of the fans from each channel. Also, you won't be able to get rpm off the pumps without using one of the 4 channels. If you don't like this configuration you could also get one poweradjust (1 pump on the xt, 1 on the poweradjust) or get 2 poweradjusts (pump on each).

Yes, a single LT can run this configuration as long as the 3 other fans don't exceed the channel/total power consumption. Gentle Typhoon's are 0.996 watts/0.08 amps. Five of them are 4.98 watts/0.4 amps.

Also, since you are using a pump, it is highly recommended to use the heatsink or waterblock.

you can use any thermal tape as long as its the proper thickness. as far as tightening the waterblock it, the plastic screws should be snug but not too tight. as soon as it begins to get 'tight', you should turn it once more ever so slightly and that should be it. if you replace the plastic screws with metal ones, make sure you use washers and make sure the screw the same length. tightening it should be same. i can't speak on the 'bowing'. just make sure the thermal tape is good and screws are not over-tightened.

the waterblock and waterblock mounting needs to be revisited.

i can't find the power rating of the akasa apache fans. they seem similar to gentle typhoons or noiseblockers, so i'm going to go out on a limb and say yes 6 should be fine (3 per channel).

if you can find either the wattage or amperage at 12v, i can plug them into a spreadsheet i'm working on and let you know for sure.

ok six akasa apache's come up to 23.76 watts/1.98 amps. under the total max for an aquaero. you can only put 3 (maybe 4) fans on a channel. this setup is only at 23.76 watts total which is low, so i wouldn't think you would need the waterblock. although i would highly recommend the heatsink though. it seems like the consensus is that total power of 45 watts and above should use a waterblock.

also, right now the software can only use the temp sensors connected to it. it cannot utilize the motherboard's built in temp sensors. these sensors will be available to use sometime in the future.

The problem is that I can't find any Aquacomptuer sensors in stock, and I need to buy 3 more, my question is if it is possible to use any other non-aquacomputer sensor, and if so, which ones are compatible/recommended? (I was thinking phobya maybe?)

i'm using temp sensors from 10k to 50k and they all register perfectly fine on the motherboard (asus maximus iv extreme-z) and in Aquaero. i even tried a temp sensor for my car alarm (compustar) and it worked.

My case has 15 Gentle Typhoon AP-15's and an old school ehiem pump that I plug directly into the wall. I plan on getting two pumps designed for watercooling later so I can plug them into the XT, along with a flow meter. For now with the 15 AP-15's I was planning on getting two of the power adjust 2's, I assume that should be enough? And then I would just monitor the Aquaero using the software as I add more fans / the pumps later to see how its doing and add more power adjust2's as necessary (is that the standard practice?).

How do you plug multiple fan's into the stock XT's fan controller 1-4 ports? Likewise, how do you connect multiple poweradjust 2's to the 2 aquabus connectors? How does the aquabus high / low differ?

Is there a detailed description of what each port on the PCB does? Some are kind of obvious, but say 12V PWM, is this for the pumps? Tacho?

Also, I run all of my cooling, lighting, fans, (and pumps in the future) on a seperate power supply (tied into the first with a cable so they turn on / off at the same time). Does this pose a problem for the XT or should it operate the same as if it was powered by the PSU the motherboard is on.

Sorry for all the questions, just kind of overwhelemed with it all and the lack of a detailed manual (the pdf I found was more like an advertisement of features?)

it is definitely overwhelming. i had mad questions about the aquaero just like you. and the only reason i know so much about it has been asking questions, researching, talking to users via skype, etc. The language barrier isn't helping either.

The XT is enough for the AP-15's. 15 AP-15's use about 0.414w and 0.0345a at full load. Slowing them increases power draw. The XT has a max load of 19.8w per channel and a total of 60w. You could run all the fans on the XT but it is highly recommended to use the waterblock. You could also add more fans and maybe a pump, just as long as you don't exceed the channel limits. Another thing to keep in mind is the grouping of the fans. The XT has 4 ports so you will only see 4 fans even though 15 are connected. This means all the fans on port 1 will be going the same speed. Depending on how the fans are physical located in your rig, this may not be desired. So you have to find the balance of how you want your fans grouped and not exceeding the channel limits. If you do exceed the channel limits you will need a PowerAdjust2. Keep in mind the PowerAdjust is only 25w and 2.08a so you could run 1 pump or about 8 AP-15's.

And yes adding poweradjust2's as necessary is the standard practice. You can connect up to 6 six PA's to an XT, Pro or LT. In the future you will be able to connect an LT to a XT or Pro. This would be a better option than purchasing multiple PA's.

You connect multiple PA's together via the Aquabus. PA3 Aquabus goes to PA2 Aquabus, PA2 Aquabus goes to PA1 Aquabus and PA1 Aquabus goes to the XT Aquabus Hi. Aquabus HI is for newer Aquacomputer devices. Low is for older Aquacomputer devices.

The aquaero comes with a manual in english and german. It states what each port is, but isn't very detailed. Also there isn't a PDF available. PWM is not for the pumps. PWM is a PWM output. Only devices that accept a PWM input can use these ports. I haven't seen anyone use these, but apparently these can be used for LED's (won't work on cold cathod). Tacho is an output. You can use this port to connect to a device that can read RPM singles. For example you can connect this port to your motherboard fan connector and the motherboard will be able to read the RPM from Aquaero. In aquaero you will determine what this RPM is actually connected to. In my opinion, this port is useless and i can't really see a use for it. The whole point of Aqauero is Aquaero is the controller.

Not a problem for Aquaero. Aquaero gets it power from PSU and USB. so whether your pumps are separate from your fans doesn't matter.

p.s. there isn't an english manual. even the one in german doesn't have alot of detail.

I wonder, is it possible to add more than one RGB LED to the 4 pin RGB LED out, or is it only designed to power one RGB LED?

Normally, I keep quiet so as not to upset anyone, but I must say something here. I purchased the Aquaero LT version becasue I didn't want to be fiddling with / staring at the LCD / front panel. My understanding is that it had software functionality and would tuck nicely away on my case. All I wanted was a simple fan curve based on a given temperature (Water temp). Well...my bad for not reading the fine print...there IS no curve available for my version. Basically, I have a slider to manually adjust fan speed...and even that fails if you are using a Razer keyboard.

Secondly...the VRMs heat up like crazy at lower fan speeds...so much I decided to purchase the passive heatsink for additional cost. Guess what? It did no good whatsoever. In fact...I cannot lower my fans (which are paired Aerocool Shark 140mm's) to below 60% or the VRMs will overheat, and the fan speed begins throttling wildly.

Shoggy provided great tech support, revealing the incompatibility with my Razer mouse, but I am ultimately / incredibly disappointed with this product. For me, it sucks. The M-Cubed T-Balancer is likely what will replace this thing...which also sucks...but a little less.

If you do not have a Razer, plan on purchasing the VRM waterblock, and do NOT buy the crappy version...maybe you'll have better luck than I did.

What? Doesn't the aquaero work if you have razer hardware? Or was that just the "cheap" version?

Hmm, it smells like something from AA4 times since usb on asus motherboards and IIRC with logitech gaming keyboard (G15? G17?). I'm a bit disappointed to hear that AA5 LT is in some way cut down in more ways then just minus remote / LCD. I somehow expected that LT should be on par with XT/PRO on regulation features once heatsink or waterblock is added :/. Not much issue for personally me, as i plan to buy most probably XT version, but for those that wish to go more on budget side that might be. As for overheating i'm guessing that it might be some TIM issue with bad thermal contact. Have you properly used TIM or thermal pads when mounted it on AA5?

Eeeaugh: Hmm, so by reading that it seems that it's not exactly that keyboard is culprit, but indirectly rised by it usb polling rate. Hmm, can you seek which usb ports on your motherboard are provided by another usb controller then one you have connected your gaming keyboard to and try using AA5 from it?

Shoggy: imho AA5 -> for LC -> at least 4/5ths of customers are gamers, and with hi-end gaming hardware, as they had went to LC. Probably lot of them using gaming keyboards and gaming mouses, from which very many if not most of them use high port polling rates. Heck, i even remember in reading in few reviews of mouses where reviewers complained about not high enough rate, not fit for gaming. So that might be very common issue/configuration, and imho such configuration to work with should be added to AA5's firmware. Yes, i understand that you have made both hardware and software according to specs (eg. usb prototcol ones), but in real world there may rise interworking issues among different devices by different vendors that have to be worked around by each vendor (and probably most other usb product vendors do), even more so if configuration is common to targeted buyer market niche.
As temporary fix you might test if my hunch about moving elsewhere where AA5 is connected to can work, and if it does fix, publish note in both AC/here and other forums (+on website), for users to fix temporary issue, and meanwhile develop/extend firmware functionality to be able to work with non standard polling rates. I'm guessing about possibility of fix from different usb ports from reading old AA4 threads, were it sometimes helped on few asus boards, where it was if few usb ports were provided by chipset and few others by 3rd party (IIRC NEC) extra controller.

Eeeaugh: and regarding that forum you posted your link to .. please, cut some slack for AC guys, and give them a bit more chance to fix things. I understand your frustration, but placing it onto them WON'T make things fixed faster, they themselves wish to make or fix good product, and loud swearing/whining/accusations won't help anything but your relieving stress. They too are humans, please be polite to them. Communicating in professional & calm way is not that hard and definitely is well liked by anyone on other side.

Hi Josh I can understand your frustration but you are not understanding the limits of the hardware.
Did you ask around before making your purchase? I think you have just under estimated what you are asking it to do.

1. You are using high current .36A fans which the Aquaero 5 can only run with a waterblock, and even then only 3 per channel.
2. The curve feature you want was released in BETA 7 of Aquasuite 2012. With older versions you needed the display version to have access to curves, which the LT obviously doesnt have, but it will have curves in the latest beta 7 release to the windows software. (this is stated in their Aquasuite 2012 software release notes)

To address 1. above you could try replacing fans with lower current fans with similar performance or put the A5 LT in the line of some airflow somewhere in your case to aid in cooling the VRMs. I have RAM fans cooling my PA2 VRM and they support 2A of current which they cant do without some active air cooling.

If you can be a bit more patient, the fix for your last issue with the high speed polling issues with certain devices might be fixed in a later firmware/software patch. It might even be fixed in the current recent beta 7 and firmware 1015 updates (razor etc - or try what Churchy suggested or change your mouse)

I am actually having an issue where I cannot find/set curve controls, I purchased the LT version as well. I was able to install the latest 2012 beta8 version, and updated the firmware to 1016, however I do not see any options for curve controls in the software. Maybe it was removed??

I've read that this device can conflict with Logitech G19 and G500 software, anyone still having this issue?

Also since I ordered the XT version, I can technically just use the interface to configure, avoiding having to use the aqua suite software altogether?

I can't speak on the razor/g series issue, but I did see some other people having issues. Something to do with USB speed and drivers.

Anyways about the XT...you can control all aspects with the remote. It is easier with the software though.

Just updated my LT with this while using a Mionix mouse set at 1500 polling rate. I was thinking I'd have to dig everything apart in order to jumper wires and turn on / off...but...BAM! Worked like a champ this time, and it now features a nice curve controller. Pretty happy! The only thing left to resolve is the overhearing VRMs under the passive HS I screwed on...I will try active cooling with a small fan, and if that doesn't work I guess I'll have to go the waterblock route.

If this thing worked this well out of the box, I'd never have complained once.

Anyhow...good job Shoggy & thanks!
