^^ Very neat and nice!
Great Cable management too!
Clean setup uncle david. I remember your worklog at dfi-street, didn't you have a Lian Li v2000? btw do you still post over at diy-street, it seems pretty dead over there.
what about load/idle temps using a single 120.1 rad ?
Is that a coretemp reading during orthos? What voltage? Your loop is very clean :)
I guess I can finally post in this thread since I just recently went to water:D I am doing a review on this waterkegIII which has some amazing performance.

I believe I have the Logisys ones. For some reason they throw off too much light IMO and not enough UV. I also like the small size and convenience of a UV LED array :)
fbmbirds - Why do you have your pump outlet going into your res? Must've taken you a week to prime/bleed that.
So, cam is back. New pictures. 8800GTX is new in this one. Also the water color is different ;)

I am using LED´s from http:www.leds.de
direct Link: Is here to find *click*
But the most important thing you need to know is the nm-value (here 370-375nm)
http://leds.de/daten/wellenlaenge_tippinfo.jpg
the lower it is, the better the effect. The higher the value is, more purple light you will get. (Standard is not good - 395-400nm)
I needed at least 8 LED's of the better quality to get that effect.
LeChuck, pretty good imitation, we definitely like the insides...
do post some more pics and maybe add the rest of your components in your sig.
and also welcome to xtreme systems liquid cooling forums.

Here is my build that I created a case/sidedesk for to house it. The desk is just a test build out of plywood (thats why I painted it instead of finishing it)as my skill in woodworking is not up to speed. I will make a new one when I think I am ready to use the good stuff to build it.
I hope those fans aren't on full speed, why you need all of them at all ?
Thanks Ranker!
When I had the drawer outside of the case when I was assembling and Leak testing the fans at 7v where noticable. Once I put the drawer into the desk though you can only here the hard drives. I do not have the drawer totally closed off in the desk though. There is still about an inch and a half where the top of the drawer does not meet the desk top. In my next build I plan on making it closer and possibly sealing it shut with a rubber strip or something like that. That should help to keep it even quieter.
In this build I did not worry about protecting the wood against leaks, I did run some primer under the paint although I wouldn't expact it to do too much protection from the water if I get a total loss of fluid. I used Polycrylic on the outside of the desk and will use it all over the next one I build.
Thanks again!
katmando, very nice idea. will wait and see how your new revision would turn out.
advice on painting wood, use a coat of flat enamel, let would absorb, sand it nice then finish with a coat or 2 of quick dry enamel with #1000 light sanding inbetween.
It doubles as a sidedesk Coolrmaster, on the next revision I plan on staining it the same as the desk sitting next to it.
Thanks again NickS and BTW I am a Ford F150 Man myself. Love your Sig!
Agreed septim! I did use a flat black to paint but then I have two coats of the Polycrylic over that which shined it up. I also neglected to sand between coats, big mistake there. Thanks for the info.
Some more pics.

How have you got the rad mounted in that thing?
Yep in the bottom works a Thermochill P120.3 with the Performance Shroud mounted on it and the Pump (Laing DCC) too.

Here's my humble contribution, which is nothing compared to some of the monstrousities previously posted in this thread. It gets the job done though. I'll be upgrading towards an 8800GTX w/MCW60 + Unisink very soon. Sorry for the lousy JPEG compression:

I recently sold off my 2nd 8800GTX as I found maintaing SLI wasn't worth it. Then replaced my eVGA 680i M/B with a new Gigabyte P35-DQ6 board and redid my loop. And since I'm using this system 24/7 I moved from a DDC-2 to the dependable Laing D5 Vario and changed my tubing from 3/8" to 1/2" (which is ironic considering there is talk of people moving from 1/2" to 3/8"). But so far I'm quite content with the changes.
Here are the results:

Overview.

Closeup of the loop. I went for a very simple loop with only two blocks and a T-Line; nothing complicated like my previous loop:
http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...1/IMGP0595.jpg
i love it man, very clean
Perhaps should have rephrased that. Maintaining an extra 8800GTX in my system, even if completely unusued and without SLI active, caused my system to consume more electricity and put pressure on my PSU and increased the noise level of my PC. Even worse, while it acted as a glorified paperweight in my PC, it dumped it's heat into the waterloop.
And while turning SLI on may have helped framerate a bit, in terms of actual use within games, it really didn't make much of a difference except to push my PSU into overdrive, increase heat and consume electricity. Fine it increased my benchmarks, but in terms of actual use, one overclocked 8800GTX handled everything anyway.
So I didn't gain anything by SLI except a larger electricity bill, a noiser PC, and a hotter running PC. Having tried it, I think SLI is overrated.
p.s. I am aware that I could have created more loops to handle the extra heat. But given the (questionable) benefits SLI has verses one overclocked 8800GTX, I'd rather not focus my efforts here.
me 4. took about 3 or 4 revisions on my setup to get clean:clap:
btw: i'd give up a kidney before one my 8800gtx sli cards;)

GJ dude, looks sexy :)
Nice looking loop. Short and sweet. I don't like the full cover block at all though. And your SLI troubles are worth it for the badass factor :p: Plus it will benefit when we get dx10 games.
There is more of my setup outside the case, rather than in
It should all be in once I get a GPU block for the HD2900XT and drill some holes in the case to mount the rad

Awesome new pics of my system. Just took them :D
Thats with new 8800GTX (Big Thanks goes to Dynasty ) installed and some more cable management done. Also, i removed that crappy mosfet Asus include with their motherboard...It would not make any temps difference and the NB would become enough hot that i couldn't touch it for more than 5 secs. Instead, i removed the Asus "shield" and hooked my Sunon 60mm fan. NB is pretty much just warm now.

You have a DD block and you think it'll suck? lol...
I gotta say the EK block is pretty good, keeps my 8800GTS 640mb @ 40 idle 44 load :)

Yeah the block looks awful inside. When i opened it for cleaning, i found the design pretty weak ... and hooking back the o-ring in correct position to re-mount back the top was a pain in the *ss... Thats why im considering either the EK or hook back one of my MCW60 with maybe a Unisink.
Glad to see u Canadians are good for something ;)
Danger Den make good stuff. People like to be hatahs but don't let that get you down. So maybe an EK will get u 2c diff and maybe not. DD stands behind their stuff and is constantly working to improve and redesign for improved performance while maintaining a reasonable price.
I'm going to have to disagree Darth. DD hasn't put out anything to compete in the CPU department that's competitive with the Swiftech or D-Tek blocks.
Their 8800 FC blocks were just horrible in QC. I ebayed mine after getting my hands on the EK's and seeing how drastic the difference in quality/craftsmanship. McCoffey had some pics posted of the how bad their blasting was. I also took offense to how they handled the fiasco of a run of their 8800FC's having microfracture leaks, toasting many systems. To my knowledge, of the 4 people that lost their systems, only 1 received replacement parts only after he threatened legal action.
DD was definitely a competitor back then, but now...in the words of Borat "ehh...not so much".
So here she is.

omg a single 120 rad for a cpu and vga
LOL
u sure have a sharp eye
lol, its quite a rats nest down there.
i caouldnt find anywhere else to put the cables, so i just shoved them there, it dont really matter though, because im getting a new case soon, a lian li pc-7b
temps are ok, gpu (stock) 35 idle , 50 full load, cpu (e6600 @3.6 ghz) 47 idle, 68 full load
i'm a big fan of lian li but the pc-7b is a tad small for more than a single 120 rad internal
i think that a 120.2 will fit on the top of the case, im willing to sacrifice 2 drive bays if needed.
i think it has room, look at this http://www.systemcooling.com/lian_li_pc-7b-07.html
nice! that the rad that i have. So 120.2 mcr on top and i 120.1 bip in front would work?

pity about the dent in your PA, but that's one heck of an awesome build! I like what you did with the shroud, although I don't know whether it's more effective that way or not.
I know it supposed to be fan>shroud>rad, but I have to sacrifice performance (for now) to get it to fit underneath the "cupboard" after I use the comp. Notice I already took off the case's feet.
When I tear those down Ill place the fans ontop...here is a pic of my deskspace I have to work with:
