I think I posted it only over in the other topic yet - A79A-S can not do HT Link 1.0 that easy - bios option is missing and AOD only allows me to go down to 6. I am waiting for a new bios to continue past 5 (hopefully ;) )Quote:

lol, over at Anadtech i was getting the heat you know why because i dared compare an Phenom II 940 @ 3Ghz to an i7 940 @ 2.93Ghz..
I said OWC did a clock to clock comparison of they two and "deneb" seems quite good for its cost and how good it is in games as compared to i7 of the same clock. After this all people except a few started praising the i7 and bad mouthing Phenom II quite funny arguments....

mind checking timings, how low can you run timings at 1066 mhz? on my phenom i cannot run lower than 5-5-4-15 :S my memory is stock 1150 mhz 5-4-4-12 and ive tested it 1100 4-4-4-12
