A8N32-SLI Deluxe = Socket 939, Least acording to the Asus website so the processor you have fitted now must be a 939 to so that new AM2 processor will not fit.

You should probably do some research before you try and solve this problem with money. Custom computers aren't the kind of project you can just throw money at in hopes of fixing things.

NOTHING TO FIX, WHAT U ON, IT'S CALLED UPGRADES

Have not upgraded for months till now, when played Crysis demo.

I know what I would need in Intel a QUAD CORE RIG, but I would like to stay with AMD

zac, your current specs are pretty good, since your running sli already your not gona see much gain from switching boards and ram in order to run that 6000 cpu. imo it would a waste of money, you would be better off waiting for phenom to come out or switch to intel if you want the best performance

getting a quad core would only help if crysis runs on all the cores. i've not followed the game/development so i dont know if it does

Because you have no clue what you're doing. Buy the most expensive hardware you want, but if you don't know how to put it together or tweak it, you aren't going to have a fast computer.

you should swap to Phenom X4 or Q6600, you decide because everything else would be a bottlehack for those GTX's in SLi..

An easy fix to this problem as you allready have a Amd 6000 X2 on ur hands is buy one of the following Am2 SLI ready mobo's

DFI 590SLI (Had but issues too many)

Asus Crosshair (Currently got and perhaps prior asus was better?)

    Asus M2N32-SLI (Great mobo period!)
    CPU: Intel Q6600 @ 3600Mhz 24/7
    GFX: eVGA 8800GTS SSC 512MB
    RAM: 4GB Corsair Dominator PC2-8500
    MB: DFI LP LT X48-T2R
    HDD:150GB WD Raptor X
    PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W
    Screen: Dell 2407WFP

You have to wait until the end of the month and buy a new 790FX AM2+ mobo, HD9700 Phenom, 2x HD3870, 4gb of 8500 ballistix, and sell all the stuff you alredy got.

    or

do as I said above, exept switching the 790FX with Nvidia's AM2+ equivalent and keeping your GTX cards.

You do not want to get an AM2 mobo at this point.

To simply you have two options the patient mans option or the frivilent throw money type option...

But then if you get Asus M2N32-SLI mobo your not throwing too much money at the problem sub £100 if you look around...

Which is why you were trying to put an AM2 processor in a S939 motherboard. Yes, you clearly know how to build a PC. The advice I gave you still stands... take it or leave it - I don't care.
