    X1900XT + fx-57 and fx-60 all stock results in 05

winxp sp2 all updates with more tweaking left to do.

    x1900xt with shipping drivers
    DFI Lanparty UT RDX200 CF-DR
    fx-57
    2x 512 Ballistix 2,3,3,8 1T

Unfortunately I don't have any sort of respectable cooling to give o/c'd results but I will fool with settings some more tommorrow.

10787 for the Dual Core FX-60 not nearly as good as some of the others.

Maybe I need to remove and reinstall the Video Card drivers for it to recognize I now have a dual core.

    *edit*

Same story after driver re-install 10756 in 05

you took it off or is it a pic you saw? BJ11 is 1.1 ns and samsung week 548 is the week i saw on the XTX

If thats the case then no need to get the XTX.....which means for $525 with the right person tweaking the card it is indeed a GTX killer........and a lot less $$$

Problem is, 1.1ns is not guaranteed for the XT...it may well be for the XTX.

I'm sure early batches got the same treatment (XT or XTX), but we'll begin to see 1.2ns for the X1900XT more often...and people will be willing to take the plunge to get the lucky 1.1ns on the XTs..

Again though, I can see that these chips are moving very fast into mass production...because its costing ATI next to nothing for the core, hence the sub MSRP prices, days prior to launch.

Plus 1.1ns-guarantee on the XTX is the only thing that guarantee's ITS price. So I'm assuming Levish got lucky with 1.1ns

i think its pointless for people to bicker about NV vs. ATI..

Until they both start releasing cards at the same time, how can people compare...i would expect nothing less from ATI..they HAD BETTER make sure its faster and mo' betta' than the 7800gtx series....just the same way Nvidia will make sure the 7900GTX is better than the x1900xtx

LOLOL how about talking of grafik cards that are in stok and alredy in the shops????

The true is that at the moment the KING OF HILL its the X1900XT/X , when the G71 come out its another story , but for now the X1900XT is the best grafik card with the best price. period

in my opinion the ATI made a good job with X1900XT in a short period of time after the failure of the X1800 compared with 7800GTX

    BTW: nice result

Remember that the cost/unit for the X1900 will be at X1800 levels by March...so bring on the G71 for $7xx.

Looking forward to confirm if ALL XTs also have 1.1ns ram or 1.2 ns ram.
