    nickel/copper/acetal, performance diff?

looking at the EK supreme HF, any performance difference in all their varying material combinations? or purely asthetics?

Some reviews find better results with the full copper/nickel models, but only marginally better results. It's mostly, if not entirely aesthetics.

I believe the Full copper model is a (minor) upgrade from the original HF, but the different finishes don't make a difference...when you look at the thermo of it, the same block plated with nanometers of some other metal is going to perform identically (for our purposes) to the unplated block.

well b4 the nickle was 60% looks, 40% prevention in mixed loops.. until we noticed the copper tarnishing really quickly when you had a fan blowing air on it.

So nickle then became... 99.99% looks.... becaues if your still using mixed loops in today's age... then may God have mercy on your system.

    thats correct.

Any wetted alu should be avoid.

When i saw wetted, that means... in contact with water..

Alu which is not in contact with water is OK.
Ie.. Alu Face plate, which hides the acrylic underside.

dont hate, alumium is lighter therefore gives you better power to weight ratio of your system
