This is nice but, I can't help but think about how much better the build would look with a gigabyte board... The GB color scheme fits so much nicer than that evga.

Nah i don´t want so much blue in it. Only a white sapphire board would be an option but unfortunatly they don´t produce new boards since many years

That's true too! Now, why don't people paint motherboards???

Anyway, the build is really very nice and top notch, I just kept thinking that something needs to be done about the MB colors

However, it is fine how it is, but if you do paint, I won't complain. The contrast of white and dark looks pretty nice too!

Little Update today after a longer Break - Ram Waterblock changed and Cool Cover Mounting Kit painted and installed











Imagine white Leds and Screws in the EK Ram Waterblock and HK 3.0 !

Bundy: how about painting EK logo etchings and metallic sides outside transparent top on ram block in white? (or instead block metallic sides top itself in area between top sides and oval O-ring)

My vote goes to this waterblock config. I think consistency is very important.

Also, you can paint the PCB and connectors on the motherboard. I've never painted PCB, but I have painted over my connectors before (DFI boards shipped with ugly yellow connectors). It's a huge pain in the ass, but probably still easier than desoldering connectors . Which I've also done on another board.

I have very creative ways of voiding my warranty.

Give eddy a suggestions and they may make a white RAM top for you.
