    Core i7: G.Skill 1600 or Corsair 1600?

I've been searching a good 30 minutes and can't find a definate answer to this. I read a few posts saying the Corsair Dominators had a few compatibility issues.

These are the 2 kits I'm considering (Both 6GB Kits):

    Corsair Dominator 1600

    G.Skill PI Black 1600

I also looked at these but I assume the "PI Black" are binned higher as the timings are better.

I assume these kits use the same IC's, but, what do you guys think is better overall with compatibility in mind. I will be using an Asus P6T.

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I would also like to know which memory is the best to overclock i7.

would it be smart to wait for the 1866s??

    Thanks.

Memory is one thing I still need for my build. Kits are so expensive. I've been mainly looking at OCZ or G.Skill 3x2 1600 kits. It seems like the kits have been slow to come out though.

    . I just ordered 3x2gb of the g.skill 1600 8-8-8-21 RAM. I would have wanted that instead

The g.skill will be here tomorrow.

What is newegg's return policy for retail RAM that has not been opened?

I am running the Gskill Pi Black 6gb ddr3 1600 kit at 915mhz and memtested them 12 hours at 930mhz with 1.64volts. I just got them and I think they can do more.

The Corsair sticks work great with the RE2 and they OC in an outstanding fashion!
