What do you use for CPU cooling?

Bored and curious, I'm wondering what people are using to keep their various rigs cool and running.

My desktop is under water (FuZion and an MCR320, shared with an 8800GTX + MCW30), the server is currently sitting under a Thermalright SI-128, and I'm yet to decide what the Wolfdale will be using, although a Xigmatek HDT-D1284 sounds tempting (I like top-down coolers 'cause of the extra airflow where the mobo needs it).

    Eller

    Desktop: Q6600 G0 @ 3.6 Ghz | P5E | 2x2 Gb G.Skill PC8000 | GTX 560 Ti | CM690 | TT TP 750 watt | Win 7 Pro x64 | Water Cooling
    Server: i3 530 (Stock) | CM Vortex Low-Profile | Zotac H55-ITX WIFI | 2x2Gb Corsair 1333Mhz | IGP | VX450 | Server 2008 R2 x64

    Phase
    And water, of course
I hate air, even my HTPC is watercooled, and that one sits in a Silverstone LC17 Desktop case

I like water very much , but I prefer aircooling .

Less complicated , less expensive and todays cpu's don't produce that much heat . Don't know about Nehalem , but 45nm Wolfies/Yorkies don't need water.

Brings me to my next question : is there a s1366 waterblock available yet ?

    2x OCZ Vendetta2
    1x TRUE w/ Y-L Med fan onboard

My main rig is under water on a fuzion v1 with an MCR320 in the same loop as my 4870 on a MCW60.
fold1, fold2, and fold4 are on stock heatsinks.
fold3 is on a stock quad heatpipe sink from a s939 dual core opteron.
fold5 is on an old thermaltake volcano 7 with a higher speed NMB fan (and it still runs pretty darn hot lol)
fold6 is on the original Arctic Cooling freezer 64 with a worn fan bearing (need to replace it soon but not sure with what)
fold7 is on some random generic aluminum sink that is larger than stock and uses a random 80mm fan pulled from an old PSU

Wife's is on a Scythe monstrosity, works real well. Oldest daughter's is a stock quad heatsink, mine looks like it will be my modded RBX and I still have to get one to run my other daughter's rig with. In fact, we can't even get them locally, how crappy is that?

What CPU does your daughter's rig have, what kind of sink do you need?

I am all air. I got the antec 900 and right now I have the Tuniq 120 tower. It works pretty well, but I have been looking at water cooling so I may start going that way one of these days.

Yeah, the Aquacomputer Cuplex XT is already available with an LGA1366 mounting here in Germany. The Watercool Heatkiller 3,0 will follow shortly (finally a new HK for the CPU).
Apart from these, the GTZ is my favourite since the mounting looks great.

Aircooling ain't extreme, what are you all doing here

Seriously, you know why I hate aircoolers? They are so big that you ALWAYS run into space issues. Or if they fit, it's so close that you can hardly (un)mount them without breaking a finger

    TRU-120 non extreme with 2x 1200 rpm push-pull fans.

Air cooling ain't extreme, huh? Try mounting a TRU-120 on a GeForce 8400 GS and earning a gold cup on HWBot, than say that again

Mounting a CPU heatsink (tower-style no less) on a GPU that doesn't even need it excluded

all my quads are cooled with Xigmatek HDT-S1284 (Achilles) or EKL Groß Glockner with Panaflo 38mm fans. Both of them keep the 3,6GHz Q6600 @ 1,37V around 55 degrees

Karl, the HDT-D has quite low performance sadly, edespite the good looking concept

I like water, Though I've only got my desktop under water because of the costs associated with it. MCR320, Fuzion 1 w/ nozzle, MCW60, On my Q66 and 8800GT all powered by a DDC3.1 and Yate Loon D12SL's at 7volts. Very quiet!

I want to put my x3350 cruncher under a used fuzion, Db-1 and MCR120, Maybe 220. Waiting for some more money to flow in.

Everything else is on air. the x3350 is on stock intel cooling at the moment, the s939 X2 is on a XP-90, great heatsink. My Brother's E6600 is under a copper XP-90, works very well. My P4, A64, And XP are all using stock heatsinks. They require dusting once a week since they are in the basement, the XP-90 is down there two but has filters in the case so It doesn't need dusting as often.
