How do you determine which chips are in the memory?
How do you determine which chips are in the memory?
If you have a look here it will give you a good idea. That list is a bit old now, but if you are running anything there, then it is still valid. Of course if yours is newer, then it's also telling you that your IC's are newer.
That's my conclusion as well C-N. In fact, it should'nt come as a surprise really, because the UT P35 behaves in exactly the same way. For the 5.1ghz clock on my P35 the NB needs 1.53v, even one notch higher or lower and the cross clock settings change and the clock is then unstable. The UT P45 is the same, with the added complication of the Rcomp and Ram Skews to throw into the eqaution.
Who said clocking was easy
I'm still not found the cause of the freezing of the screen. This always happens in different ways - sometimes in the first 5 minutes Prime95, sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes I walk Small without problems.
This is a 455 * 9 or higher. SG is currently shows Vcore 1.26V, Vtt 1.31V, Vnb 1.29V.
I use all GTLs 0.67, CPU skew 200/100, DRAM Skew 3-3-1, FSB Vref 21, Vram 2.04V.
I can not understand what may be the cause of my problems.

Interesting note...on testing with a Q6600B3. I could do 445x8 and run 3DMark06. 430x6 and run Prime95 for 6-8 hours. 426x8 and run Prime95 over 12 hours until I turned it off.
The same processor, video card, cooling, memory with a 780i, by far the best 780i of three I've had here, couldn't do it. 425 could run 3DMark06 but froze or rebooted in minutes on Prime95. The same for 365x9. In the end, the best I could do is 360x9 or 400x8. Both seem to pass Prime95 (the later still testing), but the first seems to produce a higher 3Mark06 value.
It seems the digital PWM was worth 160-200Mhz in CPU speed.
On both systems CPU VID reported by OCCT was similar. CPU VTT was set to the same value. CPU GTLs were set to the same values then fiddled on the 780 to see if it made a difference. The 780 didn't have a clock skew adjustment for CPU, NB, or memory. The 780 does have many more useful memory dividers and supports x16/x16 SLI.
What are the key factors for E8600 @ 5.9-6.0 GHz 10*600 FSB with that mainboard? Thanks
I hav'nt bothered trying to get to 600+ fsb myself.........yet . But i do know the mobo is capable of it because Rgone posted a suicide screenie at DFI club. The highest i've gone to at the moment is 563 fsb, but that is with 4x1g sticks of ram and it is'nt a suicide shot, it's 24/7 stable (see link in sig). If you look at the link in my sig, it should give you a good idea of settings you may need to move up towards 600+ fsb. Of course, 600x10 is'nt going to happen unless your under Dice or LN2. 600x9 though, should be more than doable under Phase.
My first run was 570 FSB:

Updated BIOS and trying to understand P45. Second run will be 600+ FSB and 5.8+ GHz (if i can)
I have DFi Lanparty DK P45-T2RS Plus. Are they same boards, DFI Lanparty UT P45-T2RS Banter and mine? Same BIOS and same rulez? If not, is there anyone with DFi Lanparty DK P45-T2RS Plus? (sorry for too much posts)
Thanks...
I think there's plethora of other threads, dedicated to P45 DK boards. This one here is only for the UT model.
The BIOS is very similar & they play very similar.
I am subscribed here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=191950 for the DK & Angoholic http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...&postcount=608 looks to be the man for fsb atm.

Would try the UT but i do not think you will get higher FSBs with Wolfdales, maybe someone has nice Quad Results with the UT >FSB510, max with the DK was FSB507@Prime Large stable which could be used for 24/7

So, any stable achievements with Q9550 with 480+FSB? I'm looking to change my X48 with P45 because of the low FSB for 24/7 and for benching. I'm choosing between LP UT P45-T2RS and Maximus II Formula. The main goal is 480 stable, because my CPU can do it ...
