Nice results man, LN2 sure is fun to play with

Vince the card only work with 6+8 , not like HD3870X2 that work OK with 6+6 , right??

im asking this because i will receive a XFX 9800GX2 tomorow and i think XFX cards dont have 8pin adapter and my PSU dont have pci-e 8 pin

i Know BFG and Zotac comes with 8 pin adapter but for what i saw in XFX 9800GX2 reviews , the XFX cards dont have it , and if 9800GX2 realy need 6+8 that its Unacceptably from XFX !

    regards

It is highly recommended to use an 8 pin PSU connector, because the 6>8 pin adapters do not pass UL and it could be a fire hazard.

K|ngp|n do you have an extension further separating the cards? If so where did you get it from?

Good job K|ngp|n! I'm still rockin' the not so popular 7950gx2 for my current rig. I love dual cards despite the inherent heat issues with air cooling. This is definitely a card for me to look into when I upgrade later. Hopefully quad SLI will get ironed out a lot better than it did with the 7950gx2. That's the only reason why I never got a second one.

Can't anyone bench on say a E8400? The only benches and reviews I ever see for these kind of cards are on the EE CPUs, which the majority of us can't afford I wonder how the scores would differentiate between a dual-core and an EE quad-core?

Very nice scores!! I love the way you cool the cards with that 1 tube. First time i have seen 2 GPU,s cooled by 1 container(?)
(stupid) question. How long is this card. My 8800GTX is "almost" to long to fit in my case. I want to upgrade to this card but, when the card is longer than a 8800GTX it is not going to fit!

    Sorry for bad english!

In benches I'd say the differce would be pretty obvious, since the former benefit a lot from quad core CPUs ...
As far as gaming is concerned though, things are a bit different ... Games usually (or should I say always ? ) use only 2 cores ...

    //EDIT: @Goofisch I think it's as long as the 8800GTX one ... 8800GTX ---> 26.6 cm, 9800GX2 ---> 26.7 cm (approximately the same ) ...

    9800GX2 dimension : 26.7x 11.2x 3.8 cm

Maybe a solution is to use an E(extended)ATX case like we use for the dual socket boards..
ATX board is generally 9.6"x12"..EATX is 12"X13"..
Gives you an extra 3 inches in the depth of the case..

Except for 3dMark06 the scores will be the same if the CPU is at the same speed

PCB and copper madness happening there. I'm sure your results will give people the insight to see if it's worth it or not, we're all excited.
