Revising my system (give me a hand)

Ok i'm tearing down my tri-loop system for a full clean out (due to dye buildup)
While it's down i'm changing out my masterkleer 7/16 tubing for tygon r3400 3/8 5/8 tubing.Using straight distilled no dye this time.

Ok i'm contemplating getting a 120.3 taking 1 loop out, running 2 loop and putting my q6600 @ 3.6 1.48v on it as well as my gtx (A 120.3 can handle both these components well?) I will be using the same fans (which are scythe kaze ultras 2000rpm 88cfm)

Keeping my nb sb and vrm's on the mcr120.Ok now i need help planning how i will be routing the 2 loops

I was thinking doing something similar to rockfordfosgate pictured here:

But using my ddc 3.2 instead of the d5.Thinking a way to get it mounted on the bottom section front bit where the 120mm fan sits.

Maybe i can whip up a bracket of some sort. I will have to move the psu high to get the 120.3 down there so i will need to move hd's in there current location.I could put them back in the drive bays or maybe above the radiator in the bottom section.

I'm favoring the hd location above the rad apposed to the drive bays.I would like to keep my drive bays spare for other things.

here's a better pic to show what i want to do

Taking the one res out giving me 3 free drive bays...

using the top 2 for a alphacool lcd having a spare one underneath that for whatever i may get maybe a multiswitch. Then the 2 res's,dvd burner and then fan controller.

what do you rekon guys? ideas? anything i should do differently?

    cheers

    AHHHHHHHH RIP Tri Loop...

another monster rig is going down.... sad sad day..

Dont do anything to it besides run straight distilled. The tubing lasts longer that way. It just wont be so blingy tho. Everyone who takes this as a hobby needs at least 1 monster system.

Keep the tri-loop, but run it with distilled only (and some PT-Nuke).

You're killin' me, disruptfam! But, I do understand - as my next build will be just distilled and some biocide ... no more bling for me. I'm sure whatever you do will look great.

Maybe you should switch to the copper top for that GTX if you're going to run all distilled since there have been some plating issues w/ the GTXs in the past.
I still need to make that same cutout as you did on the side panels for my own V2100.

Yeah, definitely get the copper top or replace it with a different block if you use distilled water with biocide only. I saw another corrosion report 5 mins ago here

My temps are really bad so a full clean out is a must...

I may keep everything the same bar the tubing/dye/fittings...

I ordered my new fittings yesterday.Frozenpc is taking there time to process it.Been a whole day and hasn't even been packed yet.Hopefully getting my r3400 soonish

The word on xs street is to leave my system as is.Which i will probably will do bar the tubing/fittings etc.In all honesty i wouldn't off touched the pc i like the way it is.But the dye isn't agreeing with me.

I thought chucking in a 120.3 would give me perf i was looking for in the 1st place when i 1st did this build.

    anyhu cheers fellaz!

I like simplicity so its purely my opinion. I think one PA120.3 is more than enough when it comes to cooling everything that you have and then some. While a tri-loop is great, I would bring it down to one loop. It is much easier to maintain and service. Perhaps I'm just so jaded from constantly tearing my loop apart and upgrading for minimal performance and the back pain involved in it. Again, this is purely my opinion and preference so if I offended anyone, my bad.

My own opinion is to get everything on 2 loops, easier to manage while still performing great.

Yeah i think 120.3 would outperform these magicool rads i'm using atm even with the gtx in the same loop as the cpu!

Have to admit the rads have always seemed the build's weak point.

Not to disappoint you, but u probably won't see much of an improvement unless your system was very inefficient and crappy, which I doubt it was. What will affect performance is your fans and how clean u keep ur radiator. Anything other than a catastropic leak, I would just do what Ron Popeil preaches in his informercials.
