That's a nice score, SM 2.0 sure is fast on Nvidia. KP has single around 9,600 I believe.

It was a joke. The card still works just fine. With a bit more speed on the CPU and the mem I shuold be able to squeeze the system a bit more

I found out that I have probably used the wrong vmem mod. If you have a look in the 7900 gto vmem mod thread there is a new mod there. I have done this mod on my card and will try it out tonight

I have two of the EVGA 7900 GTO's running stock and I don't approach those scores in SLI.

I am sending one of the cards to ebay any day now, so maybe I'll mod the remaining card.

    AMD 3800 X2
    Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
2x512 OCZ PC 3500 Performance Series
    2xEVGA 7900 GTO
    520w OCZ Powerstream PSU
    Antec Solution Case

Nice clocks. 1GHZ core is sweet.

You wouldn't see just anybody do it with the silicone that was available when KP first hit 1Ghz. I thought most guys already knew that, it's overclocking 101

You may want to raise that a littlebit more. I remember when my 7900GTX ran under Mach II cooling, anything under 120Mhz PCI-E was no go @ 910Mhz core..

Thanks, will try to run the pcie higher when starting up the rig again later tonight. Hopefully my CPU will do couple of more mhz too.

Dont think the memory on the card is maxed out either

You should try other Vmem mod method. I'm currently running 1.98V with no problems. Mem can do 1940MHz now

I will post results in my mod thread later.

    Sick core speed!
