That kink coming off the radiator will be fixed soon.
ThermalTake UV coolant, PT_Nuke, Distilled water and of course highlighter.
Because it was an ugly green before and this was the color i was looking for.
I have not had any issues with my work and it is all well planed out prior to the work being done.
Great job lohoutlaw :D
lol, the fan adds a nice touch.
Ahh ok. I don't know any Russian boy bands ;)
EDIT: Shoot me now Steklovata doesn't agree with my ears. Oh that video clip is woeful. Their voices aren't that bad but I think the background music will drive most people mental and this is coming from someone who likes Nintendocore.
This is not the 100% finale version but for the moment the computer look that.

Yeah to be honest, are there any good boy bands in this era? Nope.
I'm going to guess it's that neoprene tubing from Swiftech.

Dual Rad techstation
:worship::worship::worship::worship::worship: :bows::bows::bows:
Incredible Cyberdruid, you are truly a master with acyrlic.
Utnorris
Just curious, what MB tray is that? And where did you get it?
Thanks,
Utnorris
I think it is a mCubed T-Balancer bigNG without the acrylic panels.
thanks MomijiTMO :)
Considering how many builds and cases he has, I'm sure he had a spare one lying around the place. BTW how's your build going lyl? How's the 4870?
Hell I'll ship anywhere...No rads on that one...it was made for a fellow Folder. I already have a knocked together techstation with the BlastFlow 240x240 and the Alphacool 1510 and it's hard to beat that...
http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/1...onv3027nu9.jpg:D
The mobo tray is often OOS at Performance PCs so I get it at Silver PC which costs more and you have to buy the mobo stand offs and screws seperately :wth: and they take off the 80mm fan...lol
This is the SIlver PCs Mobo Tray>> http://www.silverpcs.com/product_inf...5f2a34ead601ac
and the PPC mobo tray>> http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=3387 which for the same price comes with everything inclding the fan...
This the HDD cage >> http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...oducts_id=4401
The rest is just .236 acrylic and .125 x 1 aluminum angle
Cool, thanks CyberDruid
Going well... The 4870 is beastly! Crysis on high @ 19x12 with 35 average FPS is fun I must say. But it's still blazing hot.
Ive been thinking a lot lately about how I am going to cool the 4870, and I just can't decide. I am trying to stay on a budget, but defiantly want to keep my nice temps. I'm even considering leaving it out of the loop and getting an Accelero or Thermalright's new T-Rad2. If do water, I probably wont be getting a full-cover block even though Ive been waiting for them.
What I cant decide is whether to get a nice 120mm radiator, probably BI GTX120, or a MCR320 for the same price! The 320 would fit in my case at the top (would have to just extend the current MCR240 hole) and i could move the MCR240 to the bottom of the case... would be a lot of radiator in a small case. Hard drives and pumps would consequently have to find a new home.
Or just get the GTX120 which mounts a lot easier and probably not overkill. The question is Xtreme shall i get? decisions decisions...
Sounds great! Air cooling your gpu sounds like a good idea although wc it would be super. I would get the MCR320 because it's dirt cheap.
Yo Druid, it ain't out of stock...LOL
Their service is pretty good, I stand by them...if they're out of stock, then Petra's.
lol
I've sold three so far but w/e...I just want to keep tinkering and create the PERFECT tech station
lol, does anyone read D-tek manuals?
I'm assuming most of you disregarded block orientation for good reasons. No harsh criticisms here.
Please tell me how the outlet being on the left makes any difference from it being on the right?
As long as the 'outlet is placed at the top when the computer is upright' (taken from manual) the orientation is fine :)
How is that orientation incorrect? D-TEK's manuals both say to position the outlet barb on the top to help with bleeding, but aside from making the D-TEK logo sit square to the world, there is no compelling reason not to turn it 90° in one direction, depending on the way the motherboard mounts...
Haha, I know guys. (ie "no harsh criticisms"). I agree, logically it does not matter as long as outlet is on top. I'm mainly referring to completely flipped ones I've been seeing lately.
i like the way you worded that :)Quote:

Hi mib :D fajnego masz sponsora ;)
I cant belive it, 2 systems in the last two pages with bad fusion orientation just after it was mentioned,
Daidalos : I think you should rotate your block, it will help bleed air bubbles and stop air getting trapped inside, i like your set up though :)
@taylormsj: I know about the orientation but the system bleed completed with no issues. This position helps have a cleaner look i think.
some pics of the outside of my build. not sure what to do about the graphics loop. put my 8800gt under water until the 4870x2 comes out or wait.
also should i go for a different shade of blue or a different colour
your right lyl ill post some picks of her inside today. Just realized that after i read your post.
Some miscellaneous pictures of my old setup on different hardware... Still waiting for parts on the new one. Needless to say i'm anti-high-flow :D

Heh, yeah elbows-r-us in there :D
Next system will be different, way less restrictive and with pneumatic connectors. Poor LAING cannot show its potential there :p:
EDIT: No, it's not 10/8 tubing, it's EVEN LESS 8/6 tubing. Don't really feel the need for high-flow as the temperatures are as low. Why take chances with pressure?
does anybody else see drinking straws? hehe
Hehe, that is alot of elbows!
My new project - Koen Server:

Mod Log can be found here
That's very red :).
I am glad you are happy with your temperatures.. I don't see why you use SO many elbows though. Why do you use them in places that they aren't needed at all? Elbows are supposed to be used only when 100% necessary.
Finally redid mine. Still crappy wire management.
http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...p/DSCN6336.jpg
http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...p/DSCN6335.jpg
All you guys :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing at NaMcO for the elbows really should try using the fittings and tubing he is before opening your mouths. PUR is much stiffer than anything the "barb" or "compression" crowd uses. It feels nice and flexible outside the case but then it does something weird when you try to put it in......it doesn't bend very well......how do I know? It's what I use for most of my builds.

looks great :welcome:
That's why I like Chieftech cases
@ Koen
Very good build and can I ask what is your pump? :)
Central heating . .. . . what's that? I'm glad it never goes below zero here :D.
I like the look of the pump in question. Send it to Martin lol
Im really confused but oh well, the Pump in Koen Server is a 12V Laing DDC-1T Pro 10W with the XSPC Pumptop/res. Basicly all Koen Server is is my old case with a load of my old components (from when I had my S939 stuff) its a little side project ive started after doing my Koen CCXR project.
I don't think they were talking about your build mate :D
Freebo - look at the post #9686 :)
Thanks for comments :)
The pump is a hot water service pump as rafwlkp said. Without my "mods" it looks like that:
http://www.cerpadla-neptun.cz/media/...1168931920.jpg
Such pumps were pretty popular here in Poland before 12V Laings came in. Some people still prefer them because of their high reliability and very low noise (comparable to MCP655 at first gear).
Low noise <3.
Ugh but then my next complaint would be fans. . .
Was the pump expensive?
In Poland it cost ~100$
Someone, I beg you, please help me with my horrible wire management! I hate this case, wire management - horrible with it.
Any links where to find that pump? Seems to be interesting..
ah finally i received the mb brace for my ascension...so i can finish the last steps.
found a lil laing ddc and a pa160 during tidying up...could be a funny fifth loop for the mips mem cooler doen't it :D
Check this one, same case
