Cooled by water. MSI K8N Neo2 and 2x 256MB PC4500 A-DATA 1:1. The 3000+ and the SPMW 3200+ are without the spreader. The other 3200+ run with spreader.

The 3000+ works in my system and the 0433 is selling.

Heres my new oc, im back after a lil time away from the forum. Damn this PSU, whoever mentioned it as the weak point, you nailed it, im feel kinda gutted that i didnt pay another Â£20 for a 550W+ PSU :mad: But i'll try again when i get a new HDD and slap in my ol' 9600 instead of this power-hungry 6800GT.

Edit: its SPMW0445, and the checksum got messed up because i opened the 2nd copy of cpu-z while the first was on the memory tab. or something. but i can assure you the ram was running 233mhz (maxes out at 271 but mem controller or board doesnt allow above 250 1:1). And why does the NB fan slow down when im running corecenter? perhaps that why it crashes the system after a while? it'd be nice if i could actually control it with this 1.5X bios but ive tried all 3 settings to no avail.

Yesterday i have testet a 0441 MPMW ... 146. With hs the cpu runs on 2650mhz 1.56v stable.

My 0450UPMW number: 40022 runs at 2.6GHz (10x260) runs stable at 1.5V real!!! (SuperPI finished couple of times OK, Prime 9 hours)

But my Muskhkin LVLII V2 (TCCD) seems to be like brakes for my CPU :wierd: (260 CL2.5 4-4-11-1T 2.8V - more V doesnÂ´t help)
I will try to set CL3 to try 3GHz :D

I can reach 2430 Mhz 9x270, @RAMdiv. 166 (~225Mhz) Primestable.. at 1,45 V.
45 Â° under load..
Funnny: i am not able to add 5 Mhz more although with Ramdivider @133 or even 100 the sys faults with Superpi at every HTT over 270 Mhz.
Booting possible @9x300 Ram @100 but crashes in Pi..
PlayinÂ´ with Vcore/Vdimm makes no difference, also switching down RamDivider makes no difference.
What do you guys think, is the cpu limiting or could it still be the crappy Ram? Something like incompatibility between my RAM Mobo CPU?
Makes it sense to invest in some gskill rams or would you skilled peops say, forget it your CPu is almost squeezed out?

If your getting that replacement from newegg it won't be a 0435. That's just the picture they used. You will probably get a 0450 or later depending on what warehouse they ship it from.

Hm, possibly i have a problem with that cheap Rams i use. What if these Ram just dont like high divider (133/100) at high HTTÂ´s I played around with the A64tweaker and the thing is: at memdivider 133, and also 100 the system refused to boot, so i bootet with 260x9 /ram on 166 divider save, and in windows i dropped the memdivider from 166Mhz to 150* reserved value. (whatever that means)
And then raised the clock up to 293 Mhz with clockgen. Now the ram runs @220 Mhz(upper limit of ram) 2640 Mhz 293x9.. stable at first look...
if i set 293 HTT, and divider 133 (should give around 190Mhz) in the bios .. the beast not even boots.
Now i must set manually all that stuff under windows to reach this clock..

Looks llike the TakeMS Ram fooled me by not accepting lower dividers..seen that before? There is still light at the end, should i go for g.skilll rams?

Memory: 2x256mb PQI Turbo 2.5-4-4-8 stable @ 1T (not stable at 2.5-3-3-7 @ 1T only at 2T)

Running 1:1 ratio with no divider DDR 570 Vcore 1.6v and prime stable for 22hours + Will do more testing but as of now it's still good to go.

Somewhat stable in windows but not bench stable. Needs more vcore, maxed out in bios but undervolts .1v, Need vcore mod or better mobo. Idle temp was 38c with around a 17c room temp. Max stable is 9x313htt so far. :)

I have a question:

My CPU is S&M stable @ 2640Mhz, but @ 2650Mhz it freezes after 7mins or so of benching.
At 2640Mhz the max temp is 56c, while in 2650 it goes up to 62c; So I guess that the meaning if this is insufficient cooling.

Do you think this is what's limiting me? If so I'll buy an XP-120.

Stock cooling w/ 1.5v + undervolting correction.
I forgot to mention that both of these clocks are 3d and Spi1m stable. 2650Mhz isn't stable through Spi32m, I'm getting the "NOT EXACT IN ROUND" message when encountering iteration 20. I really want an XP120 to give my CPU 1.6v action.

That would be a good idea. My chip is oem so i dont know what the temps with the stock hsf but my 2800+ (754 socket) was retail and if my memory serves my right it would hit the upper 50c range around 2600mhz with the retail hsf. You should make up your sig so people can see what you have to better help you out. Good luck with it & post your results. :)

But do you think that the heat is limiting me? Last night for instance, my room temps were lower and I recall that my CPU passed S&M at 2650mhz. BTW, do you think that burn-in helps CPU's too?

Yes i do. A week ago i couldnt boot any higher then 9x317 and it wasnt stable at all now i can work in windows but cant bench at 9x323. I know with more volts and better cooling i could get stable higher. I have a water block, mach1 and a chiller that does -50c but i want to see how high i can get on air first.

A week ago my highest stable was 2.4 at 1.6v after burning the hell out of the cpu im running prime now at 2.5 so far no errors last week at 2.5 error in 1 min. Maybe ill get lucky :)

Hehe thanks. I'll give mine 2-3 days of burning-in and then I hope for 2.7ghz (DoGMaN has the same CPU as mine and he reached 2700mhz using 9x300mhz, which is harder to get than 10x270 which is my aim) :p:

Yeah, burn in is nice! Mine stopped at 258*9 1,4, now its up to 268*9 1,4 Prime95 stable. Hell, those 9 hours of prime every day help ;)

at 2.9~ with my horrible sticks is only printscr stable :) :banana:

undervolted[from bios] till 2.6ghz [1.37vcore 1.40]
default vcore[from bios] [1.44~] does 2.7ghz
and above 310*9 2790 ask to much [the memory i think ]

Yesterday i have buyed a new winchester. The stepping is 0448 rpmw. 2300 1.4v is prime stable more mhz is dosenÂ´t stable. 2400Mhz 1.5v i become a error message after 15mins.

My friend has buyed a 0448 spaw and the cpu runs over 2,8ghz with 1.53v on prime. I hat this guy ^^

yeah so far 2.6 seems to be TOPS even with me cooling @ 18-20c. my max vcore is 1.7 with this board. at least it doesnt mind very high FSB's :D

I'm still learning haha. I keep hearing about dividers and whatnot...I'm lost.

Im at 285x9 Idling between 37-41*C and peaking at 53*C with a heavy load. All on my XP-120 :D
