He's running different drivers, that's the only thing I can think of. Try the 191.07 version.

i tried different drivers already...same thing...also win7 and vista..i can't figure it out...
its also the same thing with my 295s...some other guys have lower gpu clocks ang yet they beat my high gpu clocks...
some 295s are actually the mars...but i already figured that out...just weird that some can score gpu points so high as compared to some...dunno if has to do with aero..lod...or some program that lowers my gpu speeds...5
example of 295 uber tweak is team.evga johnksss his 295 vantage runs are uber fukced
my scores are ...easy to replicate..so vantage is stable..the videocards are stable...there is some tweaking that some are doing..i'm not sure if lod works with vista/win7 .....

Day 1 was done at stock clocks on cards with single GPU.....long story. CCC no worka so stock clocks and stock quality, had to flash a bios for day 2.......Cards were on loan......If they were mine they would have been booting at the max voltage the card allows with uber clocks. :p:Quote:

so, LN2 is almost gone, was not really huge succes, but ok. first time LN2 -> was fun!!!
only had 15L , and i think 1/2 liters were gone within a few min due to the fact the dewar was cooling down,
dewar is ok though, so that's good.
I had high hopes that the classified would boot higher then -80 / - 90 , but still same problem with last time benching, it has coldboot at -30 :S
it's really cpu / mobo combination, i know the cpu has coldbug of -115 , and previous cpu on current classified didnt had any low coldboot issues.
Turbo did work thank god, so i could bench a bit. but i had to run dual channel, think the low temps had odd effects on the IMC, because i saw no frost or what ever near the channels.
And i couldnt use memset either, because it didnt found the 2GB that was missing. so had to run with poor timings.
BUT! great fun anyhow, had a 5.4ghz 32M run, 06.53sec but the tube was to cold and the cpu had nothing to do anymore after the run, so i got a BSOD :(

Submitted my results, although the cpu-z submit seems to have gone wrong, contacted massman about it.
the pi_fast, i dont know, perhaps the dual channel really made it alot lower? the xp wasnt to great anymore, quite some bsods, so times must have gotten worse anyway.
but this is really mad, ill have to redo those :D
so far my i7 960 is benching 5012mhz on SS

Yesterday I tried overclocking an i7 950 ES chip, that I recently picked up, it did horribly on the cascade. :(
Running on an Evga Micro-SLI motherboard with plenty of chipset airflow and voltage settings that should have made it stable at 4.9ghz with HT.

Wprime results weren't good either, I think I was able to get 4.7ghz or 4.65ghz with HT with a result of 5.3s...
Why does the CPU show the varible multiplyer, but the multi never changed? I had Cxx and turbo and EHS disabled....

one time my mount was so bad.....i would FF with just 1dimm occupied....it was frustrating. go easy on the mounting...
when you mount try don't overtighten..just make sure the tim is firmly compressed ...twist lightly to remove air in between..i'm sure you know that..i'm just saying it

With stock 5970 clocks and the e8600 at 4.5 in W7 I got 115k in 3dm03 which will get 27 boints on HWBot... :)
I'll see if I can get 01 and AM3 running and see if its scaling well in 01 and if the e8600 is good enough in AM3....

Can you run a 5970 and a 5870 in tri-crossfire? I know they are different generations (the 5900 and 5800 series) but the 5970 is two 5870 cards like the 4870 and 4870 X2... :D
Update: finished the 03 run at 4.75ghz with stock 5970 clocks in W7 and got 118,987. :)
Update #2: ran the GPU with slightly higher core clock and got 118,599. Why lower when overclocked? I'll run it again and overclock the GPU even more....

This card runs HOT!
Was idling at 50C, turned the fan up to 100% (louder than other graphics cards fans that I've heard too!) and have some extra fans on top of it and it went down to 30C. :)
Its in a Cosmos S case now, going to take it out when I put the CPU on Cascade... ;)

Couldn't get the CPU up to 4.85ghz so couldn't get 120k on water. Going to post up this 119k score and try AM3 and 3dm01 to see if its worth it to run them on cascade, then I'll run 3dm03 on cascade.
